Drumroll…for a cool US$3.75 million (+AU$5,000,000). The price is of course reflective of the unforgiving living costs in the Big Apple and when you’re one of the world’s hottest young fashion designers called Alexander Wang, you can afford it.
The official listing details a loft located in the Tribeca area of New York City and was once the home of fashion writer, Holly Brubach. Wang bought the home off her in 2010 for US$2 million and has since transformed the space with his own unique sense of style with lashings of minimalist monochrome.
Given the price for the loft, the 186 square metre space only has one bedroom. It does however balance this out with two bathrooms and a high ceiling open loft design that’ll make any stylish man blush.
The building it resides in was built way back in 1866 so yes, there’s also bragging rights of it being a heritage space.

Ever heard of Buzludzha? Neither had we until Australian brand Valley Eyewear travelled to Bulgaria for a new campaign starring Jordan Barrett knee-deep in some serious snow.
Shot over the course of four days, Valley founder Michael Crawley took Jordan Barrett along with Natalie Sole and threw them to the wolves, creating a dramatic clip you can check out below, in the former Bulgarian Communist Party Headquarters.
As for style, there’s no shortage of it in the Valley Eyewear campaign. Reflective tortoiseshell styles are combined with square-lensed spectacles, classic Wayfarer and round styles for a must-have selection of men’s and women’s eyewear perfect for snow travels, street style statements and more.

Remember Motorola Razr phones? They were those ultra-thin, ultra-tacky flip phones clasped in the hand of every Paris Hilton-wannabe and emo kid in the early noughties.
Released in 2004, the Motorola Razr was often spotted in hot pink or gold and apparently went on to sell a whopping 130 million units worldwide, making it the best-selling ‘clamshell’ phone of all time.
Now, 12 years down the track, there are talks that the Razr is making a comeback after Motorola teased a re-release ad that promises to “flip back to the Razr days of yesteryear and get ready for the future.”
Many believe the Motorola Razr will return from the dead in the form of an Android handset, but we will have to wait in anticipation until the new model is unveiled by Motorola’s parent company, Lenovo, on June 9.
Will the revived Razr be an ironic, noughties trend adopted by hipsters far and wide? Or will it crash and burn? Watch this space.

It’s one thing to shine a light on the Leonardo DiCaprio‘s and George Clooney’s of the world every time they step out on the red carpet to claim one of many shiny, gold awards, but what about the musically inclined stylish men of the world? That’s where the Billboard Music Awards come in, and this year was a cracker.
It was a mixed bag for 2016’s red carpet. Rapper Ludacris and funny man Chris Tucker, as well as lesser-knowns like boy band “Forever In My Mind”, Nick Hissom, Bryar Y. Gray, Thomas Rhett, Kevin Vincent and Jeremiah Hall went for the classic, dapper suit and tie, whether it be in check, velvet, textured wool or with the addition of loafer, sneakers, a pocket square or classy bow tie.
On the more ‘experimental’ side of things, however, were musical style stars like Troye Sivan in a print shirt and white highwaisted trousers, Seal in an epic double-breasted blazer and reflective shades, Wiz Khalifa in burgundy trousers, Nick Jonas in his signature navy leather biker jacket and Ashton Kutcher in some interesting pinstripe pirate pants and boots.
Here are all the winners of the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. so far:
Top Hot 100 Artist – The Weeknd
Top Male Artist – Justin Bieber
Top Hot 100 Song – ‘See You Again’ by Wiz Khalifa, Charlie Puth
Special Millenium Award – Britney Spears
Top Country Song – ‘Die a Happy Man’ by Thomas Rhett
Music Award for Icon – Céline Dion

It’s all happening in Italy this week with Mille Miglia having just wrapped up and now Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este kicking into top gear this weekend.
The glamorous car show which is held on the picturesque shores of Lake Como is a yearly gathering of some of the world’s most prestigious cars. For this year’s event, Aston Martin have teamed up with Italian design house Zagato to create a carbon fibre concept which will aim to steal some of that glory.
The Vanquish Zagato is a naturally-aspirated V12 beast packing a newly upgraded 592hp that will make its debut at the show, marking the fifth time that Aston Martin and Zagato have collaborated together since 1960. The special one off vehicle will sport Zagato style tail lights using the latest LED technology borrowed from the British marque’s Vulcan hypercar. Elsewhere the car will receive the latest DB11 styled rear end along with quad exhausts and a retractable spoiler.
The iconic double-bubble design of the Zagato from the 1950s is also evident in the Vanquish whilst inside you’ll find more carbon, leather and quilted headrests with the ‘Z’ logo embossed in.
Zagato design boss Andrea Zagato said in a release that the Vanquish “represents the essence of an important design relationship that dates back over 50 years”.

Just because you’re redesigning your pad doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your man cave aesthetic, and this Polish family home is the perfect example of that.
Located in the southern city of Krakow, the 169 sq m flat was actually an old fort built for defence in the 18th century. The team at Yodezeen rebuilt the estate from scratch, mixing modern architecture with a touch of tradition making for some pretty spectacular results.
Natural materials like oak, concrete, natural stone, marble and glass appear throughout the stylish home, as well as quirky monochrome artworks, interesting textures, minimalist details and plenty of masculine colours like grey, black, white and neutrals. This dark colour palette, however, avoids a lack of natural light thanks to panoramic windows on all 4 walls.

When two giants of the industry get together to invent something cool for the future, it’s no doubt going to be special.
Project Jacquard is the name of an experiment devised by Levi’s and Google which utilises a new technology called ‘smart fabric’. Launched at last year’s Google I/O conference, the smart fabric was used to make a stylish denim jacket which allows wearers to answer calls, respond to messages and toggle through music at the tap of a sleeve cuff.
The denim jacket works by weaving smart fabric sensors through the garment which is wireless connected to a smartphone. This allows it to be completely washable like any garment without damage to the smart fabric.
For now the project is intended for cyclists but we can definitely see the potential for this technology to go way beyond that scope for people such as motorcyclists. Project Jacquard is compatible with Google apps such as Google Maps, Spotify and more.
The beta trial version will come online later this year whilst a final version of the product will be available to the public next year.

Throughout life, there are plenty of “what was I thinking?” moments for us to cringe about in hindsight. Whether it was trying to recreate the boombox scene from Say Anything outside your Year 7 girlfriend’s window, or your ‘raver’ phase when you insisted on wearing speed dealer sunglasses and ridiculous flares.
Regrettable, perhaps, but we are here to shine a light on those nostalgic and often ‘questionable’ trends, bring them into modernity and make them damn cool once again. Here are 10 that, despite plenty of expected resistance, we should bring back immediately.
#1 Chardonnay
Out of the types of wine available these days, it seems that chardonnay (or as Kath and Kim like to say it “CARDonnay”) is the annoying brat you wish hadn’t come to the party. But why does chardonnay get such a bad rap? Big, bold, and aggressively oaked, chardonnay was popular in the 80’s and 90’s before everyone got sick of that overpowering oak barrel taste and gave up on the grape. Despite conjuring up memories of chundering after drinking casks of the stuff, or your snooty elderly relatives sipping on it for hours, we think it’s time to bring it back. And you know what else? It’s noice, it’s different, it’s unusual.
#2 Ear Bling
Think big fat diamonds and over-the-top ear bling were reserved solely for the Backstreet Boys paired with an open white shirt blowing dramatically in the wind? We think not. Ear bling, along with copious amounts of gold chains were a popular addition to the music videos of most 90’s ballads, and as the revolving door of fashion continues to turn, we turn with it and say it’s time to bring back the bling.
#3 Frosted Tips
It’s a crying shame that the only person still rocking frosted tips is Shane Warne. What prompted the men of the 90’s (and early noughties) to only bleach the very tips of their hair is beyond us at D’Marge, but we think now is as good a time as any to make frosted tips fashionable again. If women can get away with ombre locks, why can’t men?
#4 Coloured Lense Glasses
If you were rocking reflective Oakley shades or had a brief Ali G moment in the early noughties with a pair of coloured lense sunglasses, then we commend you for being an absolute bad ass. Whilst we can’t say the same for anyone else looking back on photographs of you during this time in your life, we suggest embracing the cringeworthy and rocking a pair of orange or blue lense glasses ASAP. If Johnny Depp is still doing, it has to be cool, right?
#5 Puka Shell Necklaces
Ah, the old puka shell necklace. Often worn by teen heartthrobs of the 90’s, these shell-encrusted necklaces were hot property for anyone trying to emulate that ‘carefree surfer vibe’ and we think they deserve a second chance. Paired with a dad bod, or even better a Wallabies jersey, you’ll be scoring Tinder dates left, right and centre.
#6 Razor Scooters
What ever happened to Razor scooters? We can only assume that after hoards of bloody-nosed 12-year-olds were hospitalised after hitting a pebble full speed on the back of a razor scooter they were discontinued due to safety concerns. So now it’s our responsibility to bring them back. How cool would you look zipping through the city to work on one of these bad boys? Words simply can’t express.
#7 Solariums
Okay, okay, we get it. Solariums, are in fact, terrible for your health and almost certainly contribute to skin cancer but we reckon they need another moment in the sun. Forget gradual tannners, Melanotan injections or laying on the beach, we’re talking about that sexy orange look you can only get after spending hours in a tanning bed. #hot
#8 Mixtapes
There’s something seriously unsatisfying about saying “I love you” with a Spotify link or an illegally downloaded Adele tune. We think the mixtape needs to come back, only if you have the means to play it, of course. Do tape players still exist?
#9 T-Shirt Layering
If you were a fan of The O.C. then there’s no doubt you would’ve at some point taken fashion tips from Adam Brody’s role as the loveable and sarcastic Seth Cohen. That means slightly baggy trousers, sneakers, a love of bad noughties indie music and the pièce de résistance, the t-shirt layered over a long sleeved top. It’s unnecessary layering done right.
#10 Tribal Tattoos
Enough of this hipster nonsense of meaningful, thin, black triangle tattoos and inked-on song lyrics. We think the gnarly tribal tattoo should see the light of day once more, either wrapped around a half-cooked bicep or perhaps as a classy male tramp stamp? The options are endless.

From Carson Nicely, this fun peek inside a factory that makes jeans shows the creative methods a manufacturer uses to create a pair of distressed denim. They spray paint colour on them, mark up some fake whiskers on the front of the pants, tumble the jeans with a bunch of rocks and basically mutilate the hell out of a brand new pair of jeans in order to create a worn in look.
You also get to see the little details getting added to each pair too (like attaching rivets) and watch them get comically blown up with air. It all adds up for a pretty interesting look into how to make a pair of jeans.
