The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is often a bit hit-and-miss when it comes to its skits, but Jimmy Fallon’s teased an upcoming gag that’s sure to get tongues wagging.
The ex-Saturday Night Live comedian and talk show host par excellence posted stills on Instagram just a few hours ago of a bit he’ll debut on tonight’s episode of his eponymous late-night talk show where he’ll be parodying Harry Styles‘ recent Vogue cover.
Styles, formerly a member of One Direction and talented solo artist in his own right, has carved out a reputation as one of the most forward-thinking style icons of the modern era. It helps that one of his best mates is Alessandro Michele, the current creative director of Italian fashion giant Gucci. The handsome English musician has been one of the most notable proponents of degendering haute couture, regularly stepping out in lace, dresses, pantsuits and wearing big earrings among other fashion choices.
Styles’ recent appearance on the cover of US Vogue wearing a long blue gown and black tuxedo jacket (both Gucci, naturally) sent shockwaves around the globe. The 26-year-old is the first man to ever appear on the cover of the famous magazine, and his non-binary style immediately drew eyeballs.

While he’s drawn a lot of praise for his bold look, he’s also garnered criticism from other celebrities and cultural commentators, Daily Mail reports. Clearly, Fallon doesn’t know what to make of it either – or at least can pick a cultural touchstone when he sees it. It’ll be interesting to see the bit in full when it airs later on today.
It’s not the first time Styles has grabbed headlines for magazine cover appearances. He also wore a Commes Des Garçons dress on the cover of Guardian Weekend late last year, revealing in the accompanying interview that he’s not just “sprinkling in nuggets of sexual ambiguity to try and be more interesting.”
“I want things to look a certain way. Not because it makes me look gay, or it makes me look straight, or it makes me look bisexual, but because I think it looks cool,” the singer related.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs at 11:35pm ET / 3:35pm AEDT later on today, where we’ll have a chance to see the gag in full.
UPDATE: the skit went to air, and Fallon bloody nailed it. You can watch it on full on YouTube below.

It’s incredibly common for us to slouch whenever we’re sitting down, or even walking down the street. In fact, there’s a very good chance you’re reading this very sentence with a slight bend in your back (or neck).
Bad posture – which is defined as being any position that causes our spine to be put in an unnatural position – causes stress on joints, muscles and vertebrae, which can lead to any number of pains, injuries or other health problems.
How do you succumb to poor posture in the first place? It can usually be traced back to whatever you do for work, primarily those who find themselves in one position for the vast majority of the working day without taking frequent breaks. Think: those who sit at desks for hours on end or people who need to bend over a lot.
View this post on Instagram
There is much to be said about poor posture, as well as its causes and potential effects. In fact we encourage you to do some further reading into it, as you may actually exhibit poor posture without realising it. It’s not simply identified as slouching, but can be present in a number of different ways.
The best way to cure or rectify poor posture is to train and build up your muscular strength. All of your body’s muscles work in tandem to support you. Your abs, quads and hamstrings, for example, are key to preventing back pain, and they will be more able to support your upper body if they’re in good health.
But one of the other ways you can help to prevent poor posture is to train your neck muscles. But rather than simply turn your head from side to side (although, this can help) lifestyle guru Dave Asprey has a product that can help even further.
Called the Iron Neck, this unused condom-looking contraption has been developed from research relating to concussion and whiplash, and after just a few months use, you should notice you’re standing more upright. In fact, it may not only cure your poor posture but potentially enable you to no longer lie about your height on your dating profile.
View this post on Instagram
To use the Iron Neck, you place the piece of equipment on your head, inflate the integrated air pillow to create a snug fit, and then attach it to a resistance band that comes included. This band needs to be secured to a solid anchor point so that you can perform exercises while working against the resistance created by the band.
It essentially works in the same way as resistance bands can be used to help you build muscle in other areas of your body, but targets just your neck.
Claiming he now “needs to duck when I go through doorways” now that his “center of gravity is back”, Dave couldn’t appear more pleased with UFO-like hat. Conveniently he has a discount code allowing you to save money on your own.
However, as silly as it may look, there is some method to the madness. The NHS cites neck strengthening exercises as being an ideal way to cure “text neck” – a forward-leaning neck incurred by looking down at your phone too much – and neck stiffness caused by holding a phone to your ear using your shoulder.
Exercises laid out by the NHS can all be completed using the Iron Neck, with the added benefit of some weighted resistance to help strengthen them faster.
Now, stand up straight, eyes forward and kiss your bad posture goodbye.
Just remember to consult your physio and bank account first…

Despite COVID-19 pulling the ripcord on international travel, there have been a surprising number of in-air incidents this year. There was a woman who was permanently banned from travelling with UAE for hopping out the emergency exit to take some sun during a delay, and a passenger was kicked off an American Airlines flight for hiding in her friend’s business class footwell… And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.Put it down to stress if you like, but this latest incident straight out of San Diego suggests social media culture, nebulous a term as that may sound, could be to blame.Like the aforementioned ‘footwell incident’ (which came about as the women wanted to “drive viewers to their Youtube channel”), in the latest case of Passenger vs. Airline, a San Diego resident has been banned from flying Spirit Airlines for at least two years.
Why? For showing his followers how to get carry on baggage for free.As the airline puts it in a letter to the passenger, which Fox News has also reported on, the ban was specifically for “showing his followers how to manipulate a Spirit Airlines boarding pass and fraudulently indicate they paid for a carry on bag to the financial detriment of Spirit Airlines.”“Additionally, as evidenced in the video’s comments, you have also been advising users specificaly on what cell phone application they should download to carry out the scam.”
“In light of this egregious misconduct, Spirit Airlines has determined that you are no longer permitted to fly with us.”“If you come into our facilities, we will report that trespass to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.”
“Should you wish to travel on Spirit Airlines again in the future, after the passage of at least two years from the date of this letter, you may request that we revisit the foregoing restrictions.”The man, who goes by Rob K on Twitter and TikTok, “first uploaded a video of his so-called ‘hack’ in September,” news.com.au reports (via Fox News).“In the clip, he can be seen manipulating what appears to be the ‘carry-on bag’ section of his digital boarding pass to read ‘1’ instead of the ‘0’ that was previously printed on his ticket.”
In the caption, though he claims he “didn’t actually do this”, he does demonstrate it for his 2,492 followers.RELATED: First Class Etiquette Rules Business Class Passengers Have No Idea About“Bunch of babies,” he says upon receiving the letter. “Should I reply back?”Given airlines’ patience seems to be (understandably) cracking in this current climate, we’d say: no.

While 2020 hasn’t been the kindest year for Melburnians, it’s not all doom and gloom. The Storm and Richmond won their respective sports’ Grand Finals; there’s plenty of cool cars kicking around like this Alfa Romeo or this G-Wagen; and now one of the world’s finest watch brands has opened a new store, the likes of which has never been seen in Australia before.
187-year-old watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre recently unveiled a stunning new boutique on Melbourne’s iconic Collins Street. The Swiss brand’s new location isn’t just a pretty place to peruse watches, but also offers a world-first virtual boutique client experience. It’s a first for the storied brand, offering an ‘always-on’ concept for clients who wish to explore the boutique virtually or have a guided tour by a Jaeger-LeCoultre specialist from the comfort of their own home.
“We are delighted to extend the presence of Jaeger-LeCoultre in Australia with our first boutique in Melbourne. From the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland to the Australian landscapes, Jaeger-LeCoultre feels a strong connection with the local communities and lifestyle; a balance of style, nature and creativity.” Jaeger-LeCoultre CEO Catherine Rénier relates.
It’s a truly innovative step for the brand and represents a huge win for consumers. While it’s exciting that Melbourne now hosts Australia’s first standalone Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique – housed in a beautiful heritage building – the in-depth virtual experience raises the bar when it comes to luxury online shopping, and perfectly complements the brick-and-mortar experience.
Whether it’s in-person or virtually, the hot-ticket items Aussies are surely going to want to check out first are the handsome new Polaris models. Inspired by the Grande Maison’s iconic 1968 Memovox Polaris and launched alongside a masterful short film starring friend of the brand Benedict Cumberbatch, the two timepieces of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris collection exude a sporting yet elegant character quite unlike many other watches in recent memory.

Of course, all of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s classics are available to browse too, such as the iconic Reverso, the varied Master range or the complex Duomètre collection. You’re truly spoiled for choice.
Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Melbourne boutique can be found at 86 Collins Street – conveniently opposite a tram stop – and is open 10am-5pm Monday to Saturday.

The mercury is rising in the Southern Hemisphere, and we’re starting to see jeans and jackets give way to singlets and shorts. Yes, summer’s on its way, which also means that the Australian man’s wardrobe is due for a refresh. Sadly, most Australian men don’t have a lot of imagination when it comes to summer attire. No doubt you’ve already noticed the Hawaiian shirts, tacky polos and v-neck tees start to make an appearance. It’s a cavalcade of classics that’s sure to continue until things start getting cold again in March or April.
But maybe you’re looking for something a little different; something comfortable in the warm weather but a step up from a linen shirt. Enter the kurta: a Southern Asian tunic that’s incredibly common throughout the Subcontinent that’s the perfect all-purpose summer shirt option. Light and breathable, but easily dressed up, not to mention available in a wide variety of cuts, designs and materials, the kurta is an indispensable part of many men’s wardrobes.
Now for some of our readers, wearing a kurta in summer is hardly a revelation. But it might be for many Australian men who are stuck in a rut when it comes to their summer sartorial style. Australian master tailor Patrick Johnson seems to think so, recently taking to Instagram to share his take on the classic garment.

“I live in these all summer,” he relates, showing off a cotton seersucker number.
“They’re really good as a nightshirt, great to wear to the beach, and you can also wear them a bit more formally.”
We think Johnson’s take on the kurta looks great, so we put it to Instagram – and found that we’re in the minority when it comes to the summer shirt alternative.
Sadly, it seems as if many Aussies aren’t ready to don the comfy kurta yet. It’s a shame because they’re missing out.
Johnson suggests that men might be hesitant to wear the kurta because it somewhat resembles a dress. We’d wager it has more to do with people fearing coming across as a Melbourne tryhard in Byron… But we digress.
Our take? Just because Instagram isn’t a fan doesn’t mean you shouldn’t consider the kurta. Indeed, it might offer you the opportunity to be somewhat of a trendsetter…

If you’re a mob boss… Sorry, a legitimate businessman – you require a particularly capable car.
It needs to be luxurious, of course, but you also need to be able to make a quick getaway. A bit of flair is a must, but nothing so conspicuous that you’ll attract too much attention. Most importantly, you need plenty of room for your goons inside the car… And a boot big enough to fit even the fattest wiseguys that cross you. Capiche?
Thankfully, one luxury car dealership in Milan has got you covered. Enter this one-of-a-kind 1998 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph Estate Wagon: more of a mouthful than your nonna’s cannelloni and bigger than Al Capone, it’s the perfect car for any discerning mafioso.

Produced from 1998 to 2002 during Volkswagen’s brief ownership of the luxury marque, the Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph replaced the long-running Silver Spirit and was virtually identical to its Bentley sibling, the more famous Arnage. While the sportier Arnage was powered by a variety of twin-turbo V8s, the Seraph used a naturally-aspirated a BMW M73 V12 making 240kW.
According to rrsilverspirit.com, this Italian-delivered example was converted to an estate wagon in 2011 by British Cars in Verona.
“The car features tailor-made twin bags in matching leather with the car’s interior, one containing tools and the other three bottles of wine. Further drinks are available from two silver flasks and hallmarked silver goblets stored in a compartment hidden behind a panel in the rear. Glasses and other equipment can be cleaned with water from a tank. The special features are completed with a removable picnic table and two bespoke umbrellas.”
Aside from the wagon conversion, this Rolls contains many amenities invaluable for a made man. The umbrellas are perfect for when you need to stand somberly in the rain at a funeral. The hose in the back could be used to clean champagne flutes, sure… Or expedite cleaning the interior in case you have a Pulp Fiction-esque accident in the car. There’s even an old-school mobile phone in the centre console for ordering hits while you’re on the move.

The asking price sits at a healthy €162,500 (~ 264,550 AUD or 192,630 USD). Maybe they’ll give you a discount if you pay in cash. Harder to trace that way, too.
Check out this unique Silver Seraph at Magni & Carnevale Motors’ website. Fair warning, it’s in Italian – but if you really are Cosa Nostra, that won’t be a problem, eh?

Sydneysiders spend stupid money on houses. Some say it's a point of pride. Others say it's insane.
Our take? Never mind their kids don't appreciate it. Never mind financial stress crumples relationships. Never mind your lumbar region doesn't enjoy the 'cultural value' of Berkelo when you spend most of your time in the office.
RELATED: The Tasty Sign An Australian Suburb Is Set To Boom
The Egyptians had their pyramids, Sydneysiders have suburbia.
Though painting citizenries with a broad brush tends to piss people off, this particular 'wide net' theory is supported by stats.
Studies have shown Sydney is not only the most unaffordable market to enter in Australia but, by certain metrics, “more expensive than New York, London, and Singapore.”
All the while, Sydney’s median income is actually lower than cities like New York's.
Yet we continue to scoop up massive mortgages in order to be in the thick of the action (or in a desirable suburb).
This Keeping Up With The Jones phenomenon (or, taking it at its most basic form, Sydney's resilient property market) was perfectly illustrated at the start of November when James Whelan, an Investment Manager at VFS Group in Sydney, summed up (in DMARGE's opinion) Sydney's housing bubble in one photo.
RELATED: Sydney Man's 'Unbearable' Experience Reveals The Perils Of Moving Too Far Away From The City
He then went on to explain why many Sydneysiders to commit themselves to their city (and living near it), despite the extortionate prices.
Whelan has continued providing snapshots into suburban Sydney life, this week taking to Twitter to share an image of an open house which he says ended up selling for +4 million dollars.
Lower north shore property is nuts at the moment
— Dome Strategic (@DomeStrategic) November 16, 2020
One commenter claimed the place, "Went for 5.1 [million]."
The image sparked various users to comment on the "nuts" state of Sydney's Lower North Shore.
"I've been surprised that even commercial property/retail seems to be doing okay. Feels like [sic] panic buyjng can continue for a bit, but seriously valuations are bonkers," one user wrote.
"Lower north shore property is nuts at the moment," said another.
The aesthetic of the house was also discussed, with one user remarking, "Looks like a scaled down nuclear power station."
"How much value does the 'Private Pole' add? Thinking of adding one myself."
Even ruder, another wrote, "The person who designed that facade must be vision impaired."
Whether the place reminds you of Barcelona or Fukushima, it's hard to argue Sydney's property hasn't been, in pockets like this, remarkably resilient this year.

Speaking to DMARGE after the federal budget was announced, Whelan told us first home buyers are still being "treated like gods."
"The cynic in me doesn't really like anything to do with the first home buyer grant – when you say 'we're going to give first home buyers a $7,000 bonus,' that just goes straight onto the sticker price of the house."
"The government has shown their hand... whatever it takes to not let the housing market correct... that's absolutely the way they're going to go."
Whelan also said, in his opinion, this treatment of home buyers comes down to loyalty.
"You've always got to pay your debts... the debt they've got is to the people that decided, 'no, we're not going to vote for Bill Shorten and Labour' a couple of years ago when they [wanted to] bring in changes to negative gearing which would have really affected a lot of investment property owners."
"This coalition, they are paying them back for showing that loyalty and keeping them in government another few years."
"That was on display again last night," Whelan said the day after the budget was announced. "A budget which is great for building, construction, in my view a budget that is doing what it needs to do now to get Australia back on track."
Edward Brown, director at Australia’s leading real estate provider Belle Property, said another reason for Sydney's soaring house prices is demand and supply.
Unlike New York and London, which are bigger, Sydney has a smaller number of 'goldilocks suburbs' which give residents the best of both worlds.
"It's all about demand and supply – that have pushed prices to where they are today – they've seen a good appreciation in the value of homes over a long period of time."
"Sydney year on year has proven to do very well compared to other cities."
"Compared to London; New York, we've got our one CBD and those suburbs that adjoin that one CBD."
In The Big Apple, for instance, "Manhattan is pricey, but outside in greater NY, prices are a lot cheaper" Brown told DMARGE.
For the moment, Sydney's big price tags look set to continue, with some caveats.
As the ABC reported on the 6th November, "After years of dire predictions that Australia's property bubble could burst, national house prices continue to withstand the otherwise devastating impact of the coronavirus pandemic, and once again the doomsayers have been proven wrong."
"Data released this week from CoreLogic shows the national average rose 0.4 per cent in October, following five months of national declines during the COVID-19 pandemic," the ABC wrote.
"Every state across Australia (except for Melbourne which suffered the impact of a second COVID lockdown) experienced gains."
The upshot? Experts the ABC spoke to say there is still ample potential for a bubble rupture, but that it is unlikely to happen while the government does everything it can to keep it going.
AMP Capital chief economist Shane Oliver told the ABC we're living in a "super cycle of debt."
He compared the early 1990s recession with now, showing how our level of household debt has increased over the last thirty years.
"During the early 1990s recession, the level of household debt in Australia was around 40 per cent of income, whereas now it is close to 200 per cent — one of the highest levels in the world," (ABC).
"Each time there's a downturn people get worried about debt and pay some of it back, but before things go too far [into the positive], the Reserve Bank cuts rates and people start borrowing again — we go back to a new level of debt and it starts the cycle again."
Digital Finance Analytics (DFA) principal Martin North told the ABC two triggers that could expose this underlying debt (thus rupturing the bubble), are a lack of migration (which is already happening thanks to Covid) and lower population growth.
He also said selling pressure will come "from mortgage stress plus investors seeking to exit," the ABC reports.
What will determine prices then, is an arm wrestle between all these factors and the government stimuli introduced to offset them (and the Sydney 'must buy' housing culture, and the limited supply of 'goldilocks' houses).
Maybe there is something we can learn from Spain's attitude to money after all?

With Black Friday fast approaching (Friday 27th November for all your calendar fans) both consumers and retailers will be chomping at the bit to score some serious bargains and shift some serious stock, respectively.
One brand that is getting in on the action early is Rhone. Rhone is one of our absolute favourite brands here at DMARGE, offering an extensive selection of premium activewear and everyday essentials, all of which benefit from high-tech fabrics and ones that exude quality.
Right now you can score 30% off the entire site until the 30th November. That means you have two whole weeks to save yourself some cash and secure some seriously impressive clothing in the process. Fill up those virtual shopping bags sooner rather than later, however, as Rhone says inventory is limited and once it’s gone, it’s gone.
So, whether you’re in the market for some new gear for the gym: such as the Reign Short Sleeve or 7-inch Mako shorts, need some pants for work – the Commuter Pant are some of the best around – or you need a new jacket to get you through winter – we fully recommend the Tundra Quilted Hooded Jacket – Rhone has the gear for you.
Head to Rhone’s website now and bag yourself some Black Friday bargains.

The hairiest month of the year is now more than halfway over, and people across the globe have been doing their bit to support men’s health.
We’re talking about Movember, of course: one of the most successful charity initiatives in recent memory. Originating in Adelaide in 1999 with things really kicking off with the founding of the Movember Foundation in 2004, the clever rebranding of the penultimate month of the year – which started with men growing moustaches and has since expanded far beyond that – has funded over 1,200 projects in 20 countries, and has raised millions of dollars for men’s health initiatives including cancer research and suicide prevention programs.
At its core, you raise funds by growing a moustache and getting people to pledge their support. But in recognition that not everyone can (or wants to) grow a ‘mo, Movember also encapsulates any number of fundraising initiatives. Other activities the Movember Foundation suggest include tests of physical endurance or hosting ‘mo-ments’ i.e. fundraising events.
One Aussie bloke has decided to do the unthinkable and shave off his long-cultivated dreadlocks – and it’s taken the Internet by storm.
Callum Sires’ mate took to Reddit’s /r/australia to help the dread-owning mine worker raise money for Movember by pledging to shave off his follicular pride and joy.
“A good mate of mine is shaving his dreadlocks off after 15 years… he’s not getting much attention it would be good if people could help out,” his mate posted.
The good people of Reddit immediately threw their support behind Sires, who’s now $3,000 closer to his target of $10,000.
Of course, people couldn’t help joking about the Movember pledge.
“Is he looking forward to shaving it all off, or is he dreading it?” one commenter quipped.
“Well, he’s locked into it now,” another rebutted.
Cutting off dreadlocks isn’t the same as just going for a regular shave. It takes years of patience and commitment to cultivate decent-looking dreads, and you need to be careful to maintain them properly. Dreads need to be cleaned properly and with care in order to prevent ‘dread rot’, mold or mildew setting in.
Regardless of what you think about the hairstyle, we can all agree that Sires’ decision to get rid of them for charity is a noble one.
