Justin Bieber Spotted Wearing Shoe No Self-Respecting Adult Should Own
Justin Bieber Spotted Wearing Shoe No Self-Respecting Adult Should Own

Wearing crocs outside the house is either a power move or a fashion atrocity worse than socks and sandals. Unfortunately for Justin Bieber – no stranger to the D’Marge style pages – his latest ‘I don’t care’ street style look is more ‘mandals’ than Big Rubber Energy.

Do we exaggerate? You be the judge: Bieber was spotted in downtown LA wearing an all-black ensemble with white shoes while walking to his car. Now, usually we are fans of elevating a look with white shoes, but not when that footwear is crocs.

Yes, you read that right: the Canadian singer who is reportedly worth $265 million was seen wearing $70 white Clogs.

And it’s not the first time; on Friday Bieber was seen leaving the doctors wearing an all-grey outfit complete with grey crocs. While Bieber made the even worse style choice of pairing them with matching grey socks on that occasion, the worrying takeaway from this saga is that the singer clearly has more than one pair of crocs available to him.

Man of God… and Crocs

The bizarre footwear has been universally panned, despite being a crazy profitable business, but celebrities including Kayne West, John Cena and Jared Leto have all been seen rocking the shoe wear. Leto has even been wearing them since as far back as 2006 and even singer Post Malone has recently teamed up with the brand to produce ‘Posty Crocs’.

Defending crocs is a weird flex but those that do label the shoe as ‘comfy’ and good for the feet, with the last statement being found incorrect by podiatrists. This office cannot vouch for the comfiness of the shoe as we would never be seen in them. At the very least on this occasion Bieber chose to wear the white clogs without socks, making them almost seem like a last-minute decision. In any case, if you for whatever masochistic reason want to buy them, they can be found here.

The Baby singer completed the look with a simple black t-shirt, Flight-Club basketball shorts to the knee and a large satchel bag thrown over his shoulder. The pop-star has become better known for his fashion ‘choices’ than his songs lately, as he hasn’t released an album since 2015 and instead can be seen collaborating with the likes of Ed Sheeran and DJ Khaled.

Please return to music Bieber, anything is better than more of your street style.

Celebrity Trainer Reveals The 10-Minute Travel Workout When There’s No Hotel Gym
Celebrity Trainer Reveals The 10-Minute Travel Workout When There’s No Hotel Gym

Let’s face it: hotel gyms are never great (that is, if they even have one). But if you’re trying to keep fit, you don’t want your travel plans to ruin the hard work you’ve put in.

The trick is finding a short workout that requires no equipment but gives you maximum efficiency. Even carving out just 10 minutes in the morning could be the difference between a ‘beach bod’ or a ‘dad bod’. Luckily, celebrity trainer and former Bachelor contestant Sam Wood has the perfect plan for when you’re time-poor and equipment is scarce.

“You’re going to struggle to beat a bodyweight HIIT session. Even if it’s only 10 minutes, it will give you great bang for your buck.”

Wood has made a career since out of personal training since starring in The Bachelor, developing his own program, 28 By Sam Wood. Wood told D’marge that a HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) session was his go-to workout when travelling and even revealed one such workout to his huge Instagram followers.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bv3bcZqnwMB/

Wood has given D’Marge a simplified program that requires no equipment and can be completed in just 10 minutes. The circuit session is made up of six bodyweight exercises that everyone can do and the goal is to complete as many as possible in the time allowed.

The 10-Minute Sam Wood Hotel Workout

  1. 10 Pushups
  2. 10 Squat Jumps
  3. 10 Plank Up Downs
  4. 10 Alternating Lunges
  5. 10 Burpees
  6. 10 seconds rest

“This is the perfect combination. Repeat as many times as you can for 10 minutes”

It may seem easy and it is intended to be, you don’t need a gym and you don’t even need to sweat all over your hotel room furniture. Just clear some space on the floor and you’re good to go. The workout can also be tailored to be shorter if you find 10 minutes too taxing on your travels.

Wood did recommend though if possible to travel with equipment like a skipping rope or a resistance band just to add some variety to your workout. It also increases the options of bodyweight workouts that you can achieve in the room.

“Cardio and resistance covered and endless possibilities. Keep it compact and lightweight for travelling and you can’t go wrong.”

So now you have no excuse to skip a workout when travelling.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Hits Emmy Red Carpet In Gold Tuxedo & Matching $53,000 IWC Timepiece

He may no longer be on our screens as Jamie Lannister but Nikolaj Coster-Waldau’s extra tuxedo and watch combination at TV’s night of nights ensured that we nay forget him anytime soon.Nikolaj hit the Emmy Red Carpet for which he was nominated in the Supporting Actor – Drama category for his role in HBO’s Game of Thrones. This was the second nomination for the star who received the same nomination in 2018.On the red carpet, Nikolaj wore a custom-made Dolce & Gabbana gold tuxedo with a distinct dragon scale jacquard pattern, despite his TV character never associating with the infamous beasts. He matched it with classic black tuxedo trousers and patent leather shoes but the real stand out was his IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar.Nikolaj wore the IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar gold watch on an alligator leather strap with his ostentatious gold jacket for maximum effect. This is the first IWC Portugieser in the current collection to feature Kurt Klaus’s perpetual calendar mechanism with the original being widely regarded as one of the milestones of IWC watchmaking. A true masterpiece. The A$53,700 watch is a stylish option for the red carpet as it’s see-through sapphire-glass back with slate-coloured dial make it perfect for the star-studded event. The mechanism is powered with the in-house IWC 52615 automatic movement and features a full 7-day power reserve.Unfortunately, the classic watch was not enough for the star who walked away without a win but the TV show itself managed to have a record-breaking evening. Game of Thrones was nominated for 32 awards, the most for any single TV season ever and managed to walk away with 12 awards, breaking its 2015 record for most awards given to a series.Ten of the awards were picked up at last week’s Creative Arts Emmy’s and only two were picked up on the telecast, one for Oustanding Drama Series and the other for Peter Dinklage, who won the Best Supporting Actor – Drama gong.Nikolaj will next be seen on the big silver screen with upcoming roles in Domino and The Silencing. Australian Man Finds Business Class Loophole To Travel The World In Style
Australian Man Finds Business Class Loophole To Travel The World In Style

Frequent Flyer hacks have become something of a competitive game between those who travel frequently, with everyone searching for a way to make their airline points go further. After all, why languish in economy when you can be living the high life at the front of the plane.Fortunately, the life of luxury is not exclusive to travel bloggers, wealthy oligarchs or even those pesky Instagram ‘influencers’, with just a few considered decisions you too can be sipping martini’s at 35,000 feet. It’s all about not falling for the ‘free travel’ trap and rather using the points you have in the smartest way possible to get the life of luxury you deserve.Chris Park, a regular financial professional from Australia, is one such person who managed to fly around the world in business class, shower in an Emirates suite and regularly enjoys the pointy end of the plane all thanks to his realisation. Over three years Park’s managed to build up three million points and used them to upgrade himself, rather than purchase economy class tickets and getting the points wasn’t that hard.

“The idea to gain points is to spend the same way you normally would, whether it be in-store or shopping through a points mall, but using your points-earning credit cards and being strategic about how you can maximise this. I would never use my points for round the world in economy as it’s not worth it. “

Park started his journey by visiting Point Hack, possibly the best-known of the ‘frequent flyer hacking’ blogs with all the latest in credit card schemes and other handy tricks to make the most of your points. Over three years Park built up three million points simply by switching credit cards, referring friends, taking out insurance and even by walking through the Qantas Wellbeing App.

“My car registration, my insurance, my water bill, my rates, my everything – basically I’m looking at a card to put it on that will earn points.”

The temptation among many ‘newbie’ frequent flyers, this writer included, is to purchase whole tickets using points. Free travel certainly looked attractive to me, but instead if you want to go business or first class and still afford things at your destination you’ve gotta use points wisely. And it all comes down to upgrades and the way you make the points.Park told D’Marge that all of the little points ended up affording him and his wife a level of luxury they would otherwise not have been able to afford. Certainly drinking $1,000 Cognac whilst bathing in your in-air shower is not something most people would label as affordable.

“Rather than giving you free travel – nothing is free – it allows you to travel in a level of comfort most people cannot afford. I love Emirates for their over-the-top luxuries, You’re able to have a shower in the sky, drink $1000 cognac, and their first class seats even have doors for privacy. ”

Refinancing his mortgage let Park and his wife book last-minute flights to North America on business class and becoming a member of 54 rewards programs has allowed Park to be a frequent user of premium services offered by the airlines.

“Singapore Airlines, offer a service called Book the Cook, which allows you to pick your meals from a wide variety of food in advance. You’re not picking chicken or fish off the trolley cart, but you’re choosing between lobster thermidor or a steak.”

Sometimes though the temptation to spend a little extra to get some points is too great even then there are ways to do it. Park once donated to the Red Cross in order to get 5000 of the points that would eventually help him to afford First-Class across the ditch (Melbourne – Auckland). Now, who said charity doesn’t give back? One of his other unusual spends was a subscription to an Irish newspaper.

“On some occasions, I deliberately do something to buy the points. I’ve subscribed to an Irish newspaper, which gave me 18,000 British Airways points – enough for a return business class ticket from Mel-Syd at the time.”

One of Park’s little known hacks is with Alaska Airlines’ Mileage Plan which often offers a 50% bonus when you purchase points. This was used by Park who managed to purchase 250,000 points allowing for a cheap business class upgrade when travelling to America from Australia.Points rules are changing though, with one of the biggest programs run by Qantas recently undergoing a refresh which devalued all points by 15%. This, of course, was in the context of reducing taxes on reward seats by 50% but it was still a massive shakeup. And they are not the only ones. Emirates recently unbundled its point schemes to give more people access to certain services while making other ones more exclusive. There are numerous stories of people doing ridiculous trips to maintain their status credit, which is often harder to achieve than just points alone. In fact, a D’Marge traveller even told us of trip to the pub that got him the required Virgin status credits.

“Was 5 status credits short for Velocity Platinum last year so flew to Hobart Airport, couple of beers and flew home again. Don’t tell anyone.”

In general, though Park advocates for not spending any more money than you already do. But rather than using a regular credit card to buy things like suits or watches, you should instead be using credit cards that will maximise the points because in the end first-class is somewhere we all dream of being.

New Study Reveals Arguing With Your Partner This Way Means Your Relationship Will Last Longer
New Study Reveals Arguing With Your Partner This Way Means Your Relationship Will Last Longer

Forget your reliance on sex apps; your verbal sparring matches are the real indicator as to whether your relationship will go the distance. That is to say; all couples argue but the way you trade barbs says more about your prospects than you might think. That’s according to the latest science, with a new study by The University Of Tennessee (UT) Knoxville discovering that – though they may fight over the same topics – happy couples argue using very different techniques to couples who are destined to break up.So, what distinguishes the love birds from those that spit venom like Eminem? According to the UT study, “What are the Marital Problems of Happy Couples? A Multi-method, Two-Sample Investigation,” recently published in the Family Process journal, it’s how happy couples argue that makes all the difference.“Happy couples tend to take a solution-oriented approach to conflict, and this is clear even in the topics that they choose to discuss,” said lead author Amy Rauer, associate professor of child and family studies and director of UT’s Relationships and Development Lab.On the flip side, this implies dead-in-the-water couples get into it over intractable problems, rather than letting things-that-can’t-be-helped lie.How did the scientists come to this conclusion? As reported by UT’s News Portal, “Rauer and three colleagues – Allen Sabey of Northwestern University, Christine Proulx of the University of Missouri, and Brenda Volling of the University of Michigan – observed two samples of couples who describe themselves as happily married.”Fifty-seven of these couples were in their mid- to late 30s and had been married an average of nine years, and the other 64 were in their early 70s and had been married an average of 42 years.Couples in both samples were asked to rank their most and least serious issues, which included intimacy, leisure, household, communication and money, as well as health, jealousy, religion and family.Intimacy, leisure, household communication and money cropped up most often in the “serious” category, while jealousy, religion, and family ranked as the “least serious” across both samples.Interestingly, when researchers watched couples discussing their problems, they all focused on issues with more obvious solutions, such as the distribution of household labour and how to spend leisure time, rather than the more heavy-hitting topics.Going against the self-help zeitgeist (which says you should never let skeletons chill in the closet) very few couples in this study argued about issues that are more difficult to resolve. In light of this, Rauer suggests that – both groups having been chosen for their lengthly relationships – this strategic decision may be one of the keys to their marital success.

“Focusing on the perpetual, more-difficult-to-solve problems may undermine partners’ confidence in the relationship.”

Instead, to the degree it is possible, focusing first on more tangible problems may be an effective way to build up both partners’ sense of security in the relationship, Rauer suggested.

“If couples feel that they can work together to resolve their issues, it may give them the confidence to move on to tackling the more difficult issues.”

Practically, this means (for the couples studied), avoiding discussing challenges regarding their spouse’s health and physical intimacy which are more difficult to address without challenging their partner’s sense of competence or making the partner feel vulnerable or embarrassed.

“Since these issues tend to be more difficult to resolve, they are more likely to lead to less marital happiness or the dissolution of the relationship, especially if couples have not banked up any previous successes solving other marital issues.”

As reported by UT’s News Portal, “Researchers also found that couples who were married longer reported fewer serious issues and argued less overall. This is consistent with previous research suggesting that older partners’ perceptions of spending less time with each other may lead them to prioritize their marriage and decide some issues are not worth the argument.”In other words: choose your partner wisely and your battles even more so…Or, as Rauer puts it, “Being able to successfully differentiate between issues that need to be resolved versus those that can be laid aside for now may be one of the keys to a long-lasting, happy relationship.”While this news may be a relief to conflict-averse lovers, it should be noted that further studies are required – including control groups of average and failed relationships – in order to give the findings more weight. That said, this study’s surprising finding might not be as counterintuitive as it sounds when you consider it in the context of relationship guru Esther Perel’s advice that Americans and Australians need to adopt a more European attitude towards their partnerships. One of the world’s most celebrated – and controversial – dating experts, Perel (and her books) made such a statement in 2017 that The Economist took a break from covering North Korea’s nuclear stockpile and Wobbling Wallstreet to investigate Westerners’ changing attitudes towards sex.The main takeaway? “Understand that perfection is not possible in [any] relationship.”While this could be interpreted as an excuse to lower your standards, we’d suggest you take it as a reason to be more forgiving – both or your partner and yourself – and to set more realistic goals for each other.

Leaked Photo Reveals The Real Reason Daniel Craig Is Stepping Down As Mr. Bond
Leaked Photo Reveals The Real Reason Daniel Craig Is Stepping Down As Mr. Bond

Aloof. Independent. Unstoppable. In years gone by, these adjectives would have described Daniel Craig as fittingly as they did “James Bond.”

However, a set of leaked new photos from the set of No Time To Die suggest the franchise may be coming to the end of an era for a different reason to what we’ve been told.

How? Well, although Daniel Craig has told reporters, “I would rather slash my wrists than play James Bond again” (and criticised the 21st-century iteration of Bond for not being progressive enough), it turns out there may be a simpler reason behind his decision to make No Time To Die his curtain call.

He’s getting old.

Before you send us a dancing GIF of a stuntman, we don’t mean the $130 million dollar man (Daniel Craig) is not able to walk around and drink cocktails anymore (after all, Roger Moore did that until he was 58).

We mean that, in this day and age, considering how close CGI is now able to make stuntmen look like their supposed doubles (and how the franchise has become more about action than sophistication), it’s just not realistic to have us believe the 51-year-old Craig is still able to take out WWE wrestlers (see: Batista).

Indeed, one of this latest series of photos depicts Daniel Craig struggling to defeat an overweight man in what appears to be a cotton sweatshirt from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air…

Another shows him taking a heavy fall, landing spread-eagled, sucking in some big ones (while hunched over a low wall) then looking forlornly at his directors – as if begging them not to ask him to do it again. Finally, he calls time out and takes a little lie down on the ground. Brutal scenes from the toughest Bond, ever.

This feeds into a broader narrative around how A-listers plan their twilight years. While we don’t doubt Mr Craig will put on a killer performance in No Time To Die, just how long will he be able to take hits like a heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and walk away from filming in one piece?

April 3, 2020, can’t come soon enough for Craig’s final appearance as James Bond 007.

We’re just a little bit excited.
