Man Kicked Off United Airlines Flight For Using The Unthinkable As A Mask
Man Kicked Off United Airlines Flight For Using The Unthinkable As A Mask

A Florida man has been kicked off a United Airlines flight for wearing a thong as a mask. And not the Australian kind.

The man, Adam Jenne, told American media that he’s pulled the stunt on various flights to protest what he calls the absurdity of mask rules, and has previously been kicked off a Delta Airlines flight for doing the same thing.

According to Sky News, Jenne said: “There’s nothing more absurd than having to wear a mask until I get to cruising altitude so that I can order Tito’s by the double and snack on pretzels, and illustrating that absurdity by wearing women’s underwear on my face sounds perfect.”

In the video of the incident, which has now been widely shared on social media, a flight attendant says: “You’re going to have to come off the plane. We’re not going to let you travel.”

Jenne asks: “Why”, and is told: “You’re not in mask compliance.”

The 38-year-old is then removed from the plane, appearing to cause other passengers to get up, threatening to leave too.

One appears to say: “Did he just get kicked off for wearing a mask? I’m out of here, forget it. I’m out of here.”

United Airlines’ website states: “All travelers age 2 and older are required to wear a face mask with no vents or openings that fully covers their nose and mouth. A face shield alone does not count as a face covering and bandanas are also not permitted.”

“Federal law requires all travelers to wear a face mask in the airport, including customer service counters, airport lounges, gates and baggage claim, and on board during their entire flight.”

Jenne told WBBH: “I think the best way to illustrate absurdity is with absurdity. Every single flight has been met with different reactions from the flight crew.”

The United flight crew were not happy with the panties. United Airlines said in a statement given to NBC News: “The customer clearly wasn’t in compliance with the federal mask mandate and we appreciate that our team addressed the issue on the ground prior to takeoff, avoiding any potential disruptions on the air.”

Jenne claims his thong met the requirements as it covered his nose and mouth.

Airlines, particularly in America, have been struggling with unruly passenger behaviour for the last two years, with many of the incidents being related to mask-wearing (or non-wearing). Some flight attendants are now even being trained to kick your sorry ass.

Dan Bilzerian Makes The Most ‘Rich Person’ Watch Mistake Ever
Dan Bilzerian Makes The Most ‘Rich Person’ Watch Mistake Ever

Dan Bilzerian is the king of living large. The professional poker player, entrepreneur, fitness buff and self-proclaimed ‘King of Instagram’ allegedly has a net worth of around $200 million… Although considering how lavish his lifestyle is, we’re not sure how much change from all those millions he really has.

One of his chief vices (alongside smoking more weed than Snoop Dogg and being constantly surrounded by a harem of bikini models) is luxury watches. The 41-year-old has a truly impressive watch collection, owning dozens of pieces from high-end brands like Audemars Piguet, Hublot and Richard Mille.

In fact, he owns so many Richard Milles that he forgets which models he actually owns. Bilzerian shared an embarrassing admission on his Instagram Story yesterday after his latest watch shopping trip, dejectedly admitting “I bought the same f*cking watch twice”.

The world’s biggest humblebrag or the most cringe-worthy mistake a watch collector can make? We’ll let you decide.

The watch in question? The Richard Mille RM 65-01 Automatic Winding Split-Seconds Chronograph: the most complicated automatic watch the Swiss brand makes and a truly impressive example of haute horlogerie. It’s also a rather expensive timepiece, retailing for around US$310,000.

RELATED: Why The Hell Is Jonah Hill Wearing A $1,000,000 Richard Mille Watch?

Its coolest party trick is its novel rapid winding mechanism, which allows the barrel to be quickly rearmed in the event the watch stops (i.e. runs out of power). By pressing on the pusher at 8 o’clock, the barrel is fully reset, making it easy to quickly rearming the watch if not worn for a long time.

Like, for example, if you’ve left it in your wardrobe so long that you’ve forgotten that you own it, and you end up buying another one, like Bilzerian did. Bloody hell…

Australian Builds Classic Porsche Powered By A Aeroplane Engine
Australian Builds Classic Porsche Powered By A Aeroplane Engine

The vast majority of cars on Australian roads these days have one of only a handful of engine configurations. Most are packing inline-fours, many have V6s, and the V8 remains a byword for performance (even if affordable V8s are an increasingly rare breed Down Under).

Then you get into the unusual stuff. Boxer engines, inline fives, rotary engines… What about even stranger fare, like VR6s or W16s? Forget all that. There’s something even more oddball: the Y3. That’s right, radial engines for cars.

South Australian firm Bespoke Engineering, through their brand Radial Motion, has come up with a novel three-cylinder radial motorsport engine that’s quite unlike any crate engine you’ll find on the planet.

They’ve teamed up with a Sydney-based Porsche nut who’s dropped one of these bonkers engines into a highly modified classic Porsche 356 coupe, in what’s widely regarded to be a world first. We’ve seen a lot of cool Porsche builds in our time but the ‘Aero 356’ might just be the coolest.

Check out the world’s first radial-engined Porsche below.

A radial engine might seem like an outlandish thing to power a car with – typically, you only see them being used in planes – but it actually makes a lot of sense. Radial Motion’s motor is compact, internally rather simple and capable of some impressive power figures: naturally-aspirated, it’s good for about 95kW per litre.

On a somewhat less rational level, it also looks and sounds amazing. The way the lower two cylinders of the engine hang below the Aero 356’s body line is pretty awesome… And we’d love to see the look on your average punter’s face when the owner pops the boot to reveal a plane engine instead of a flat-four.

RELATED: ‘Porsche Have Created The Most Selfish Car You’ll Ever Drive’

Currently, Radial Motion offers either a 2.0 or 2.1L three-cylinder option, but they’re apparently working on a 4.0L six-cylinder engine, too. They’re not cheap, these engines, with prices starting from AU$35,000. But can you really put a price on being the coolest cat at your local Cars and Coffee?

Check out the rest of the Aero 356 build on Instagram here.

Justin & Hayley Bieber Rock The Winter Coats Every Couple Should Own
Justin & Hayley Bieber Rock The Winter Coats Every Couple Should Own

Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin) might just be the most stylish celebrity couple of 2021.

Hailey, of course, is one of the world’s most in-demand models, regularly fronting campaigns for big-name designers like Jimmy Choo, Ralph Lauren, Saint Laurent and Versace, just to name a few. She’s got a glamorous yet relaxed personal style that’s rather refreshing.

Her husband Justin might have come to fame as a singer, but these days he’s just as famous for his eclectic fashion: whether it’s pairing Crocs with gold Rolexes, rocking cardigans your grandma would love or experimenting with his own fashion label, Drew House, he’s a divisive yet ultimately captivating style icon.

A meeting of equals? That’s what we think, especially when you consider impeccable fits like these coordinated outfits the pair wore in London last week. Cozy and loved-up in complementary woollen coats, the Biebers looked like a million bucks – better get a coat for your boo, that’s all we’ll say…

Image: @justinbieber

Justin paired his coat with some baggy corduroy trousers (the man loves oversized fits) and some Balenciaga ‘Runner Trainers’. The Biebs is a big fan of the luxury fashion label, and recently even fronted their latest unisex ready-to-wear campaign.

Bieber’s latest passion isn’t fashion, though, it’s NFTs. Seems the Canadian pop star has jumped on board the digital investing bandwagon, sharing on Instagram that he’s copped a number of inBetweener NFTs: a collection of 10,777 hand-drawn teddy bear characters on the Ethereum blockchain.

If, like me, that’s all gobbledegook to you, check out DMARGE’s handy NFT explainer.

Alcohol Worse For Weight Gain Than KFC, Australian Man Discovers
Alcohol Worse For Weight Gain Than KFC, Australian Man Discovers

There has long been a stigma surrounding fast food. The general consensus suggests it’s incredibly fattening, not very nutritious and ultimately just bad news for your body altogether. But it seems alcohol could, in fact, be even worse for you when consumed on a regular basis.

At least, that’s what Australian man Conan Visser has found after subjecting his body to some gruelling ordeals. Visser, who is the founding president of the ICANIWILL Show – a platform that brings together celebrities and influencers to help promote issues surrounding bullying and mental health – has been posting a series of vlogs on his TikTok to document his progress whilst carrying out a series of challenges.

His first saw him eat nothing but KFC – the popular American fried chicken chain – for 30 days straight. As we’ve heard before from health hacker Dave Asprey, eating fast food can actually be worse for than smoking a cigarette, due to the fact it causes inflammation in the stomach that lasts for a couple of days, compared with 4-8 hours of inflammation following a cigarette.

Visser, who normally keeps himself in incredibly fit shape, gained 10 kilos in weight after the 30-day period and, according to The Daily Mail, “lost a significant amount of definition.” Can anyone say they’re surprised?

But Conan’s real revelation came after he then decided to subject himself to drinking alcohol for 30-days straight. Following his KFC binge, he completed a 16-day water fast to flush out his system – a technique he previously had to learn after contracting a stomach parasite – says The Daily Mail. He then cracked open several cold ones and started his drinking journey.

Conan has been drinking a minimum of eight standard drinks each day (equivalent to around five glasses of red wine, or five 425ml schooners of 4.8% full-strength beer) but would sometimes increase this to 12 standard drinks. As The Daily Mail reports, “on more explosive days he’s had more than 20 standard drinks, attempting to manage the hangovers with a series of natural remedies.”

RELATED: The Ultimate Hangover Cure? The Counterintuitive Coffee Hack Every Person Over 30 Needs To Know

After drinking the devil’s nectar for just a week, Conan realised he had put on three kilos in weight, far more than he had put on eating the fast food over the same time period. There’s a relatively simple explanation as to why: as Conan says, “apparently, when you’re drinking alcohol, the liver puts all of its time and attention into processing alcohol, then you store fat faster from all the foods you eat.”

Indeed, the liver is an incredibly important organ, as it helps to remove harmful toxins from entering the bloodstream and balances your energy metabolism. It also produces cholesterol and will cut down on the amount it produces if you consume a high-cholesterol diet.

With the excessive amount of alcohol Conan was drinking, the liver had to dedicate all its resources to ensuring any harmful toxins from the alcohol wouldn’t enter his bloodstream.

What’s perhaps a bit more startling about this weight gain, is that Conan has continued working out throughout the challenge. So, even though he’s exercising a lot, completing hill sprints and bike rides, for example, it’s still not enough to combat weight gain.

But, it wasn’t just weight gain that was caused by drinking high levels of alcohol, as Conan added that after eight days of his high-alcohol diet, he started to have fevers and told his followers, “I can’t remember the last time I felt like this.”

In some positive and perhaps slightly surprising news, he said that after nine days of drinking, his sexual drive was “through the roof, my performance is really good and it’s exciting, it’s adventurous, you want to take risks.” When you consider alcohol can have a detrimental effect on a man’s ‘abilities’ after drinking alcohol (read: whisky dick), this is a positive outcome.

Of course, none of Conan’s findings should necessarily make you think you can now go out and eat as much fast food as you want, so long as you keep your alcohol intake low. But his findings do highlight the fact that fast food, such as KFC, isn’t as ‘bad’ as we’ve all been led to believe. Alcohol could in fact be the silent, but satisfying, killer.

RELATED: Does ‘Getting Lit’ Count As Meditation?

Indeed, as Healthline states, some of the health risks associated with eating fast food include an increase in blood sugar levels, since there is little to no fibre in fast food meals, but predominantly carbohydrates. When your digestive system springs into action, it releases those carbs as glucose into the bloodstream.

Other side effects include a spike in sodium levels and, naturally, an increased risk of obesity.

Conan is continuing with his alcoholic diet, and is about to hit day 11 at the time of writing. You can follow his updates on his TikTok account.

Zendaya Upstages Tom Holland With Her New Patek Philippe Watch
Zendaya Upstages Tom Holland With Her New Patek Philippe Watch

Zendaya and Tom Holland are quickly shaping up to be the next big Hollywood power couple. The Spider-Man: No Way Home co-stars have long been connected romantically, but it seems that they’ve finally, all but confirmed their relationship.

Another telling hint about how close their relationship is has appeared on Zendaya’s wrist: a slimline Patek Phillipe Nautilus (ref. 7118/1R-001). Zendaya’s not known for being into watches, but Holland is a big watch fan, especially of Pateks. Maybe the new watch was a gift from Holland, or perhaps a recommendation?

In any case, the student certainly has become the master. The pair came together for an IMDb interview about their latest Marvel film, with Holland’s watch completely upstaged by Zendaya’s rose gold wrist candy shining bright like a diamond.

Zendaya’s ref. 7118 is a slimmer, smaller take on the famous luxury sports watch designed for female wearers. A 35mm case and 8mm height makes it rather easy to wear, despite its hefty gold construction.

Unlike most Nautiluses (or is that Nautili?), the ref. 7118 features a date window at 6 o’clock as opposed to the standard 3 o’clock. The silvery opaline dial also features a wave-like motif, as opposed to the standard Nautilus’ parallel lines.

In comparison, Holland was rocking a stainless steel Aquanaut on a ‘tropical’ strap (ref. 5167A/001): Patek’s ‘entry-level’ timepiece… Not that any Patek can really be considered ‘entry-level’.

The 25-year-old Englishman owns numerous Pateks, including two other Aquanauts – a rose gold one and a white gold one – as well as an unusual Perpetual Calendar ref. 5940.

Spider-Man: No Way Home officially premiered in Los Angeles earlier this week, and hits American screens as of today, as part of ‘Phase Four’ of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Phase Four began in January with the TV series WandaVision, and is be the first phase of the sprawling media franchise to include TV shows.

The next MCU blockbuster on its way will be Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the eponymous Doctor Strange. Cumberbatch also appears in Spider-Man: No Way Home alongside Zendaya, Holland and other stars including Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, who are reprising their roles from previous Spider-Man films.

One Simple Change To Your Bicep Curls Could Accelerate Your Gains
One Simple Change To Your Bicep Curls Could Accelerate Your Gains

The bicep curl is a bicep workout that likely features in pretty much every single gym junkie’s workout program. It’s an incredibly easy exercise to perform and is one that gym-goers of all strengths and abilities can do.

But there is one incredibly simple change you can add into your bicep curls and hammer curls that could absolutely accelerate your gains and have your bicep peaks popping out of your t-shirts in no time.

This bicep curl hack comes courtesy of German bodybuilder Jo Lindner. Given the number of times we’ve used Lindner’s workout advice (and considering the sheer size of the bloke) we’re pretty confident the man knows what he’s talking about.

Taking to Instagram, Jo explains that both bicep curls and hammer curls are excellent exercises to perform to work both the main bicep peak and the brachialis muscle on the side, respectively. “We always have to have both,” he says.

Check out Jo Lindner’s bicep curl tutorial in the video below.

But he adds that if you simply twist the dumbbell at the top of the movement, you’ll gain “a really good contraction,” i.e. you’ll put extra tension on the biceps muscles, causing them to receive greater amounts of tension and therefore potentially giving you greater muscle size.

He adds that you could perform bicep curls using either a straight bar or an EZ bar, each of which put your wrists into a slightly different position, resulting in greater tension on different parts of the muscle group. The EZ bar, for example, sees your wrists slightly angled, and this can help to put extra tension on the side of the biceps muscle. But, if you’re using dumbbells, what are you to do?

He goes on to explain that you should start by holding a dumbbell in each hand using a supinated grip (underhand/palms facing up) and have your arms out to your side at around 45-degrees. Then, bring your elbows close to your body and lean back slightly. In this position, Jo says “you’ve still got a lot of tension.”

RELATED: This Little-Appreciated Weightlifting Technique Could Be Your Ticket To Becoming A Jacked Beast

Then, curl the dumbbells up (whilst still leaning back) and then lean your upper body back “so you’re over the weight,” and then perform regular bicep curls. Once you have completed a few sets of these – 3 or 4 sets of 8 to 10 reps should do the trick – rotate your wrist so that your palms are facing inwards, ready to perform some hammer curls.

However, instead of performing regular hammer curls, where your palms face inward throughout the duration of the movement, you “twist it in as much you can.” By this, he means when the dumbbell is nearing the top of the movement and is approaching your chin, you rotate your wrists, so that your thumbs move outwards in opposite directions. This places a huge amount of tension on the biceps and ideally, you’ll want to hold in this peak contraction for a second or two, before returning the dumbbells to their starting position.

Try adding this simple change next time you perform some bicep curls, and feel the burn!

Passenger’s Attention Seeking Display Stuns On Hawaii Flight
Passenger’s Attention Seeking Display Stuns On Hawaii Flight

Two women flexing their tandem yoga skills on a flight (allegedly) from LAX to Honolulu have gone viral, with aggrievied Instagram users writing such remarks as “an ideal moment for turbulence” and “can we bring public shaming back.”

A video of the pair was posted on the popular Passenger Shaming and Influencers In The Wild Instagram accounts, quickly racking up views and comments.

At the time of writing, the video has received 95.1k likes and 4,454 comments (in two days).

The video shows a woman lying on her back, legs raised to support another woman, who is balanced precariously in a superman pose. They are both wearing the same coloured leggings, and both barefoot.

Watch ‘acrobatic yoga on a flight’ in the video below.

A passenger behind them can be seen reaching across the aisle to tap the person across from them, to alert them to what’s going on.

Much to many people’s amazement, a flight attendant looks to be filming, rather than preventing the duo from enjoying their in-flight acrobatics.

Top comments on the video include: “What an ideal moment for turbulence” (2,166 likes), “this holiday travel season… don’t do this please I beg of thee” (1,116 likes) and “being on the plane barefoot is arguably worse than what’s going on in this tik tok” (1,468 likes).

“Excuse me, have to use the lavatory…’Sir, please remain in your seat until these two finish seeking sufficient attention to get them through the remainder of their flight.'”

Another Instagram user wrote: “So you’re telling me I can’t incline my seat all of half a degree during takeoff or landing, but that flight attendant it going to film this shit for them? .”

“You can’t wait in a line up there to go to the bathroom but you can do this .” Commenters share their thoughts about mid-flight yoga… Image: Screenshot of @passengershaming’s video by DMARGE.

More popular comments included: “this is why i don’t fly spirit” and “where’t [sic] the air marshall when you need them.”

Another huge question people had was about the flight attendant (“Did they… have the flight attendant film them??? I just…. I don’t…. Ugh”).

Instagram user @shannon_real_ claimed to have taken the video, writing: “omg I almost died when I saw a passenger flying in the cabin, so I had to take the video” and said the pair didn’t get in trouble.

Passenger shaming seemed to confirm this by responding to @shannon_real_: “you the real MVP.”

When @shannon_real_ was asked to elaborate by other Instagram users, she said the video was filmed on a flight from LAX to Honolulu and that “pretty much they started doing this then asked the flight attendant to video. It was probably a good 7 minutes. They did it maybe 3/4 times and would hug after each one.”

When asked if they were heckled, clapped or encouraged she wrote: “haha no. No one encouraged it I think every one was in shock.”

Finally, another Instagram user, who claimed to be a 20+ year Crew member, said “this cabin crew needs to be punished” and that “this action is selfish and inappropriate” and “a safety hazard.”

Steph Curry Gifts Teammates $38,000 Rolex Watches… & Kevin Durant Wants His
Steph Curry Gifts Teammates $38,000 Rolex Watches… & Kevin Durant Wants His

Steph Curry is widely regarded as one of the best shooters in basketball history. Now, the 33-year-old Golden State Warriors phenom has reinforced that status by writing his name into the record books with one impressive accolade: surpassing the legendary Ray Allen on the NBA’s all-time 3-pointer list by hitting 2,974 career 3-pointers.

Curry finally pipped Allen during the first quarter of the Warriors’ Tuesday night game against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Allen was even in the audience to witness his record being eclipsed. Curry’s first three-pointer was the one that got him over the line, but he went on to score another 22 points to help the Warriors go 105-96 over the Knicks.

To celebrate reaching this milestone, Curry presented his teammates Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala with brand-new, engraved Rolexes – a pretty lavish way to show your gratitude! Curry even had a Rolex employee there to help Green and Iguodala fit their fancy watches.

It’s not super clear from the video footage that’s emerged thus far, but we reckon they’re yellow-gold Submariner Dates with black dials (ref. 126618LN-0002), which retail for around US$38,000.

Both ballers were very grateful to receive such a lavish gift. “Steph is the best to ever shoot a basketball and we get the opportunity to go to work with him every day and it’s a very special thing,” Green said.

A third teammate, Klay Thompson, is also set to get an engraved Rollie from Steph, too. Green, Iguodala and Thompson have played alongside Curry the longest out of any of his teammates and the four of them have been through a lot together, including three championships, NBA.com relates.

It seems Curry’s horological gifting spree has inspired some jealously, however. Kevin Durant, who currently plays for the Brooklyn Nets but was Curry’s teammate at Golden State for three years, tweeted out “send the Rollie.” No beef, though: he also sent his congratulations, saying “2974…more on the way. Congrats to the God, Steph Curry.”
