In terms of specifics, it’s best to steer clear of anything that looks too severe or heavy. Suede tasselled loafers from the likes of Santoni are a great option that can be worn time and time again.

The mistake for the week is that Remy spent most of her life being unable to orgasm (something she has recently solved). But that’s a topic for another day. This article highlights a hilarious exchange sparked by the question Francis puts Remy towards the end of the podcast – one no woman really wants to answer.

“Would you rather your boyfriend tried to cheat on you but was rejected… or [actually] cheated on you?”

Ideally, you’d choose “neither of the above” but with Francis and Giulio that’s never the case. Fortunately, Remy had a clever strategy to buy time: “So, in one situation he’s a loser…”

“Either way I’m going to break up with him.”

“I’d rather he be a loser because then we break up and then he keeps trying and then I go on and flourish,” Remy decided, before immediately changing her mind, remembering that dating a failed cheater might feel worse to look back on than a successful one.

“I’ve been dating a loser the whole time.”

Francis then hopped in with, “Not only that but the person who rejected your boyfriend is… always going to think that they’re better than you.”

Remy, still indecisive, countered with: “But the person who [really] got my boyfriend also thinks she’s hotter than me.”

Touche.

“If he cheats on me fully with someone she’s like… there’s a superiority that comes with ‘I turned down the guy you’re in a serious relationship with'” Remy continued.

As Giulio then summed it up: “The first [hypothetical] is probably worse whereas at first value the second is worse.”

“The second [where he actually cheats] could be a situation where he’s too fucked up… or he tried not to…”

“The first one… I’ve actually experienced before,” Remy revealed. “I found G Chats of an ex reaching out trying to hook up with someone and failing and I was still like: ‘I’m going to break up with him… you’re a loser.'”

To that Francis replied, “For me, I’d rather my girlfriend consummate the cheat. Keeping my ego intact is better served by my girlfriend being like, ‘Yeah I banged someone else’ and then I look at him and he’s like some super hunky guy and I’m like, ‘I don’t even blame you.'”

“I would rather my girlfriend cheat on me and pull it off.”

But do you want the guy to be cooler than you or not? This is where Giulio enters the conversation with a definite ‘no’.

“I want her to be on the decline – she has peaked, she is now on the way down… instead of – she has used me as a platform to achieve greatness.”

“What if your girlfriend cheated on you with an A-List celebrity,” Francis then asked, “Because a lot of guys are like, ‘I wouldn’t even be mad if my girlfriend cheated on me with Leo.'”

“That hurts even more. You’re making an admission Leo [Di Caprio] is so far superior to you.”

You’re single, and as the saying goes, ready to mingle. You’ve turned to app-based dating to find a prospective partner, got a few matches and set up drinks at the weekend. Saturday night comes around, you’re waiting at the bar and you suddenly think, “shit, what am I going to ask her?”.

It’s not an uncommon situation to find yourself in, but one that can be easily resolved. Don’t believe us? We spoke to Sydney-based relationship and sex therapist Heidi Gee to find out the most important questions you should be asking on the first few dates with your new flame.

She begins by revealing something we’re no doubt all too aware of, “I think people naturally go for the small talk on the first date, probably due to nerves and trying to keep the conversation flowing.”

But instead of sweating it out, she tells us the best thing you can do to settle yourself: “When you are interested in a person you need to ask yourself, ‘what is it I want to know about this person? What do I need?”, and subsequently, “from the questions you’re asking, what did you learn?”

If you manage to make it through a few beers or a bottle of wine and end the night on a positive note, you’ll hopefully arrange to see each other again and also have an idea of where you want the new relationship to go.

To this end, Heidi adds, “If you’ve had the first date and are both keen for another, it’s important to be transparent and honest. You need to tell him/her where you stand and where they stand, be honest about what you want, or what you’re looking for so no one is hurt or wasting their time.”

Date two comes around and it’s time to delve a little deeper into their mind and personality. “Find out what their values are, not just what you both ‘like'” – we’re probably all guilty of treating dates like interviews – “What are the values you look for in a friendship or partner, do they match?”

“What of yourself do you see in your date”, Heidi continues, “What have you learned about them? Be sure to show empathy and appreciation in conversation, but only if it’s genuine. Give responses such as ‘that sounds amazing’ or ‘that must have been hard’.”

Most importantly, Heidi tells us we should all just relax, “when asking questions, keep it fun and playful, ‘who’s the most fascinating person you’ve met?’, ‘how would your friends describe you?’. These questions not only give you an insight into who they are, but who their friends are too.” We agree they can give you an edge when it comes to eventually meeting their friendship circle (if it does indeed come to that).

If your date responds well to questions, but you feel you could get them to open up that little bit more, Heidi has you covered, “You could ask questions that show how they deal with challenges and opportunities, ‘tell me about the most significant plot twist in your life’.”

So there you have it. If you’re someone who gets the jitters just before you’re due to meet the potential love of your life, take solace in the fact that you now have a whole arsenal of questions to ask. She’ll appreciate the confidence.

Spotted in New York City on Thursday the 6th of February 2020, attending a showcase for his wife Kim Kardashian’s women’s shapewear, the I Love It rapper may have just been in good spirits for his wife. However, we think he’s cracking a rare smile because he’s much happier with his jacket of choice. Earlier this week he was seen wearing a quilted jacket unlike anything we’ve seen here at DMARGE, but this time around he’s rocking a sensationally cool Denim Tears x Levi’s denim jacket.

The Denim Tears x Levi’s collection was available for one day only as a pop-up store at New York’s Procell and includes trucker caps, t-shirts, and jeans, with the floral pattern on Kanye’s jacket making a regular appearance.

Denim Tears’ designer, Tremaine Emory, is a close friend of Kanye, so it’s likely the megastar didn’t have to attend the pop-up event to secure his jacket. We love how he’s teamed it with lashings of green and khaki, including a parka jacket, t-shirt, corduroy pants, and his own Yeezy boots (US$309), to become the focal piece of his outfit.

His outfit also appears to have sent Instagram into meltdown, with several users praising the look. “Fit goes hard,” says one, while another adds “Old fashionable Ye vibes”.
