They’re called the ‘Triplets’ and they’re anything but cute. Australian Special Forces commando Scott Evennett has made a name for himself in the fitness scene since stepping down from active service and today he’s showing you how to build insane core strength with just your bodyweight and a few bars.It may sound near-impossible for the average gym junkie but if you’re up for the challenge then this is it. In a recent Instagram post Evennett explains how this particular exercise is set up strategically to make each movement harder by accelerating the targeted threshold.“Things like pull-ups and toes-to-bar are so much more difficult when you’re out of oxygen.”Here’s what you need to know to start your 15 rounds of pain and reward.
View this post on Instagram
The ‘Cheeky Triplets’ consist of 3 sets of 3 exercises. The goal is to do 5 rounds of each Cheeky Triple but you can start with 3 rounds if you’re a beginner.
Cheeky Triplets – Part 1
- 5 x muscle ups, hang onto bar after last muscle up
- Roll forward into 10 x toes-to-bar to ensure you don’t give the core time to rest
- Walk over to an open space and that’s your rest time
- Go straight into lizard crawling as low as you can from one side of the room to the other
- Repeat this 5 times (3 if you’re a beginner)
Cheeky Triplets – Part 2
- 10 x pull ups, hang onto bar
- 10 x knees-to-elbows on bar
- Walk over to an open space and that’s your rest time
- Go straight into lizard crawling as low as you can from one side of the room to the other
- Repeat this 5 times (3 if you’re a beginner)
Cheeky Triplets – Part 3
- 20 x dips on the dip bar, stay on the dip bar
- Go straight into 10 x leg raises
- Walk over to an open space and that’s your rest time
- Go straight into lizard crawling as low as you can from one side of the room to the other
- Repeat this 5 times (3 if you’re a beginner)
The great thing about this insane test of your core is that you can choose between different Cheeky Triplets if your body’s not up for muscle-ups yet. Once you build enough strength and agility it’s a simple case easing into all of the movements.

Since last year’s Cambridge Analytica scandal and the various data breaches of Facebook, Instagram, eBay, Yahoo and many other Tech Giants that have occurred in recent years, it is hardly news that your information is up for grabs.Whether it’s directions, online shopping or free wifi — we trade our privacy for convenience every day. And — deluded fools with fake Facebook usernames aside — most of us are ok with that. Or — if that’s a stretch — resigned to it.This has been the case, for me, for so many years that I am basically numb to the great pile of dirty meta-laundry I have amassed. What I won’t stand for, and what I recently discovered is the case with Android, however (after taking 30 days off from my trusty iPhone), is being constantly asked to review places I have been spending time at.Release my failed Tinder one-liners if you must. Share my bitchy Facebook messages. Unleash my bathroom selfies. But please — Larry, Sergey, Eric (the closest things to owners Google has) — for the integrity of my Pixel screen, please stop asking me to review my own office. These requests, plus the unnerving reminder that Google is tracking my every move (I know they were already doing this, but actually reminding me is a step too far), whether it’s to the gym or the Qantas club was almost enough to send me running back to my iPhone. While I am aware that any geo-tag technology will need to keep track of your location to give you real-time directions, it appears this recommendation feature is unique to Google Maps — something you don’t get on the iPhone’s native IOS Maps application. As an Associated Press investigation found in 2018, “many Google services on Android devices and iPhones store your location data even if you’ve used a privacy setting that says it will prevent Google from doing so,” (The Guardian). While Google says you can go into settings and ‘pause’ your location history so as to not be tracked it’s not actually true. As The Guardian reports, “Even with ‘location history’ paused, some Google apps automatically store time-stamped location data without asking.”
“For example, Google stores a snapshot of where you are when you merely open its Maps app. Automatic daily weather updates on Android phones pinpoint roughly where you are. And some searches that have nothing to do with location, such as ‘chocolate chip cookies’ or ‘kids science kits’, pinpoint your precise latitude and longitude accurate to the square foot and save it to your Google account.”
According to The Guardian, “The privacy issue affects about 2 billion users of devices that run Google’s Android operating software and hundreds of millions of worldwide iPhone users who rely on Google for maps or search.”But is there a way to really stop it? It may not be ‘intuitive’ (and as Wired point out, that’s probably intentional), but there is a way to turn off location tracking.“To actually turn off location tracking… you have to navigate to a setting buried deep in your Google Account called Web & App Activity, which is set by default to share your information, including not just location but IP address and more,” Wired reports.
“Finding that setting isn’t easy. At all.”
Essentially, you have to sign in to your Google account on a browser on iOS or your desktop, or through the Android settings menu (if you’re on a smartphone). In the browser, you access your account settings by scrolling until you see Google Account in the dropdown, then head to Personal Info & Privacy, select Go to My Activity, then — in the left-hand nav — click Activity Controls.Once there, Wired reports, you’ll see the setting called Web & App Activity, which you can finally switch off. On your Android phone this process is slightly simpler: you just go from Google settings to Google Account, then tap on Data & personalization to find Web & App Activity — where you can switch off location tracking for good.If you’re less worried about your location being tracked, and simply want to turn off notifications, then How To Geek, a smartphone advice website, recommend you just go to Settings, tap Notifications, then Your Contributions, then Rate and Review places, then toggle this button off.“While you’re here, you may consider turning off any other options you don’t want to be notified about, like ‘Questions about your area’ or ‘Adding your photos.'”

Conservatives say men should never stray too far from the grey suit, navy suit or black suit. Anymore colour and you’re heading strictly for fashionisto territory, a place where not all men are comfortable with. Well Miguel just made it a bit easier to accept the bright red suit as a cool wardrobe addition.
At the recent Berluti menswear launch at Paris Fashion Week the American singer stepped out in a striking red suit by Berluti that pushed all the right buttons in casual men’s suiting. The pared down look consisted of a big fit blazer with matching zip hem trousers worn simply over a white tank. The dress shoes were something special as well with black and silver mirrored toe caps adding the right amount of polish without going overboard. It’s a simple look which lets the suit colour take centre stage with added accessory details such as mirrored sunglasses and jewellery.
If the red doesn’t convince you then perhaps a bit of teal? The day prior Miguel stepped out in another unconventional colour to the Louis Vuitton show. The formula was simple: no tie, no suit accessories. Just a pared down look with an unbuttoned white dress shirt and polished shoes.
We’ll admit that these colours aren’t for everyone but if you’re game, Miguel is the potential path you could be following in. And it’s a damn fine one to walk.

Breitling have long been recognised for their flight-inspired timepieces but every year at the Wheels and Waves Festival in Biarritz, the Swiss watchmaker is given a rare chance to flex its other design influences, namely from the motorcycling and surfing worlds.
RELATED: Best Motorbike Shops In Sydney
During this year’s event, the Swiss watchmaker took the opportunity to launch not one but two Premier special edition timepieces in 18K red gold and stainless steel. The former has been given a limited release of just 100 pieces worldwide whilst the stainless steel variant will only have a 500 piece run.
Setting apart the duo from the standard Premier model is an engraved plate bearing the ‘Breitling Special’ inscription on the side of the case. Other unique additions include an anthracite dial with golden hour markers, hour and minute hands, and a red central seconds hand. The dial features a black tachymeter scale on a white inner bezel, with a red tachymeter inscription.
The COSC-certified chronometers also have contrasting black sub-dials as an indication that they are powered by Breitling’s flagship Manufacture Caliber 01, an in-house mechanical movement which affords up to 70 hours of power reserve and can be viewed through the transparent case back. Both versions are finished off with a brown nubuck leather strap which evokes the leisurely vibes of surfing and riding.
Breitling CEO Georges Kern spoke of Premier Wheels and Waves Limited Edition watch as a perfect pairing to the resort festival.
“With this chronograph, we have created a very special version of our Premier, which is Breitling’s most elegant watch family. At the same time, they reflect the things we love about Wheels and Waves: the energy, the lifestyle and the coolness.”

I know what you’re thinking, ‘boo hoo’ poor bloke has to fly business class. Must be so hard for him up the front. Honestly, you’re right. Cry me a river but this observation is less about the service or airline and more about the behaviour of people onboard.
The golden years of air travel were a luxurious affair reserved for those who would wear suits, blazers and loafers — a stylish and well-mannered affair. Today it’s a little different, with budget airlines, loyalty programs and new money opening up pointy end travel to almost everyone.
That means you’re going to get all walks of life onboard. Just one visit to the iconic Instagram page Passenger Shaming and you’re likely to agree and probably never set foot on a plane ever again.
What’s new, you might ask? Well — while we are veterans at putting our headphones on and zoning out to other people’s antics in Economy — in recent years we’ve noticed some bad behaviour proliferating Business Class too.
Two recent incidents suggest lie-flat travellers are not as classy as they like to think — and they are why I am reluctant to fly business class ever again.
Incident #1
On a recent Qantas flight back from Melbourne to Sydney, I encountered what I call a ‘This my seat now!’ passenger. It was a bizarre moment where I boarded, walked to my seat and… was immediately confused as someone was already sitting in it. The woman didn’t say anything — instead pointing from my window seat to an empty aisle seat across the way.
“I move. You there.”
She had taken it upon herself to move so she could sit next to her husband. Rather than kick up a fuss I took her commands like a little bitch, politely told the flight attendant we had switched and proceeded to hate the world for the next 60 minutes.
The kicker in the situation was her husband. In hindsight, moving was probably a good thing as this gentleman proceeded to cough up a lung every few minutes and use the barf bag to spit in the entire flight. Charming.
Incident #2
Just last week I took a last minute status run from Sydney to Melbourne in order to maintain my frequent flyer status. Totally unnecessary — but a good chance to see the family.
However, upon boarding the aircraft, I noticed the guy sitting next me giving the cabin crew a hard time. Not a good start but none of my business — I put my headphones on and looked busy, as I could tell this was the type of guy who would take any invitation to strike up a long and boring conversation.
Mission accomplished, I asked for a water and sat back to enjoy my rather expensive flight.
Suddenly, halfway through, a stench enveloped my nostrils. Was it a beef burger? Not unless the airline chefs had made an eggy mistake. Was it a can of baked beans? Not unless you like your beans with a side of gross.
I turned down the volume of my music slightly, only to hear one of the most rank noises I’ve ever heard at 38,000 feet. The passenger next to me was happily (and loudly) farting — and he hadn’t even bothered to glance over at me, having assumed my noise-cancelling headphones would render me oblivious to his malfunctioning bowels.
Sorry mate — my Bose headphones are good but they’re not that good. Noise cancelling, yes, but not fart cancelling. I shot him a look dirtier than his gas and a few minutes later he went to the toilet. It was a minor victory but somehow I still felt like a loser. After all: if you want to hear this and fly in a state of discomfort, you don’t need to drop $1,200 to do so…
So what’s the big lesson here? Maybe stop booking Business Class tickets for one hour flights.

Sculpted abs. Titillating triceps. Bulging biceps. Glistening glutes. Exaggeration? Maybe not. If you’ve ever wondered what the very best version of you could look like, given the optimal diet and training program, then you’re not alone.
Erik Conover, an American Youtuber and Adventure Film-maker recently asked himself this very question after returning home from a trip during which he admits, “I fell into the worst shape of my life.”
Once he recovered, he vowed he would never take his health for granted again — and to get back in form. And where better to start than with his celebrity crush Chris Hemsworth, and his (relatively) new fitness app Centr?
Following the workout, meditation and diet plans of Chris Hemsworth, Erik found himself going without refined sugar, booze and cheat meals for a whole 30 days, all the time being (virtually) guided along by Hemsworth’s personal team of personal trainers.
This is what he noticed.
At The Start, The Workouts Are A Killer
At the end of week one Erik’s biggest challenge was definitely the fitness and strength building routine: “I’m doing workouts I’ve never even heard of before… and sore in places I didn’t even know existed.”
“At the end of the first week, I am getting absolutely crushed by the workouts … although I’m starting to see a little bit of definition in my arms.”
The Diet Is Hard To Get Your Head Around
“Food? Very tough,” we hear Erik say — whilst eyeing off seven eggs and a box of spinach. Other common ingredients include peas, broccoli, lentils and chicken breasts.
But if you had to distil it into three things: “Lots of veggies, lots of good carbs, lots of proteins.”
And of course — a calorie surplus of 4,500 per day.
The Midway Point Is Where The Positive Feedback Mechanism (May) Kick In
If you’re anything like Erick, around day 15 you will start to feel amazing: “In the first week it was like, ‘oh I feel sore I cant move’, but this week it’s like, ‘wow I actually have some muscle definition,’ — the changes have been pretty ridiculous.”
“I’ve been very shocked — my strength is up — it’s amazing the increases week by week.”
The Sparrow’s Fart Wakeups Aren’t As Bad As You’d Think
“The easiest part has been the 5am wakeups,” Erick points out, to his own surprise.
“When you have a solid ‘why’ all your other actions — like waking up at five in the morning Monday to Friday — become pretty simple.”
You Learn To Take A Perverse Satisfaction In Suffering While Everyone Else Is Warm & Asleep In Bed
Although Erick initially feared the idea of “doing something day in day out over and over” he found a certain pride in doing it — especially “on those days when no-one is watching.”
The Hardest Part Is The Daily Discomfort… & Maintaining The Diet
“Daily discomfort — that’s what this is — the hardest part is still the diet — I am eating so much food,” Erik laments, in a moment of weakness.
“Everyone says it but it’s the hardest thing — diet will make or break your transformation or fitness goal.”
But he persists and as you will see at the end — he’s glad that he did.
The Meditation Aspect Of Centr Is Not Just A Novelty
“Something I didn’t expect would be how much I would be relying on the meditation portion of this app,” Erick says, admitting he has “fallen asleep to it the last 3 days in a row.”
The 30 Day Mark Is A Moment To Relish
“I am blown away by how this has gone so far… as you can see I have a six pack now.”
With his height still at 6’4″ (obviously) Erik’s weight at the end of the challenge was a healthy 206lbs while his body fat had dropped to 10%, leading him to say, “I don’t even feel like the same person.”
“I feel strong, I feel healthy, I feel fast; I feel fit.”
The Conclusion?
“It is possible to get into shape yourself in just 30 days — I’m pretty close to being in the best shape of my life,” Erick says.
“At the beginning, I was sucking wind barely able to complete the workouts; now I’m pushing myself as far as I can go wanting more of a challenge.”

Pants for men is a broad umbrella term that encompasses several different styles. You’ve got dress pants, jeans, chinos to start you off, but you can delve further into the men’s pants rabbit hole with options such as beach pants, joggers, and even cargo pants, for example. What these all have in common is their ability to not only transform your wardrobe, leaving you prepared for any situation – be it work, play, or travel – but they can do so with very little hassle.
Once you have a solid selection of men’s pants lined up in your closest, you also have the tools required to begin experimenting with various outfit combinations, whereby you can eventually become the king of style town. There are, however, some key factors to consider before you head out shopping, which we’ll now explain in great detail.
In this men’s pants story…
How Should Men’s Pants Fit?
The way the fabric hugs (or doesn’t hug) your body is crucial. If your trousers don’t fit correctly it won’t matter what brand, material, or colour the men’s pants are, they’re quite simply going to suck. Ensure that your waist fits in the waistband and that there isn’t too much or too little fabric in the other key areas (glutes, thighs, and calves).
For most people this shouldn’t be an issue, however, if you know you are smaller or larger in some areas bear that in mind when purchasing trousers and pick a fit (wide, tapered, slim, straight, or skinny) that you know will suit your body shape. The fit you go for will undoubtedly be dictated by the current on-trend styles. Skinny pants, for example, are slowly being phased out in favour of slim fit pants for their improved comfort (much to the benefit of your crown jewels).
If you are really concerned about the fit, simply check the size guide available for most products.
What Style Of Pants Should I Buy?
The style of the men’s pants is composed of fit, fabric, colour, and pattern. For example, some dark green linen trousers with a drawstring waist will be fantastic for your next tropical getaway with sandals, however, they simply will not fly in the office.
Similarly, some tapered, woollen navy trousers with side adjustors will look sharp in the board room with a suit, however, trying to dress them down with white sneakers for men could make you look out of place.
Try to think about all the aspects of the trousers to work out when they would be appropriate to wear. If you’re looking for something that is appropriate for all occasions, consider a pair of men’s chinos or any other trouser that has a tapered fit.
Get that right and you’re ready for our selection of killer brands that offer the best men’s quality trousers for any occasion.
