A new crime drama mini-series called My Dentist’s Murder Trial is on the way, and David Harbour and Pedro Pascal are set to star…
Worlds are going to collide when Stranger Things star, David Harbour and The Mandalorian star, Pedro Pascal star opposite one another in a new limited series. According to Variety, the show is currently in development at HBO and will be called My Dentist’s Murder Trial.
Inspired by a New Yorker article from 2017, also titled My Dentist’s Murder Trial, the series will tell the true story of Dr Gilberto Nunez – who was the dentist of the article’s author, James Lasdun – and how Nunez was accused of murdering his best friend, Thomas Kolman.
At this stage, it’s not yet been announced who Harbour and Pascal will play in My Dentist’s Murder Trial – although it’s likely that Harbour will play either Kolman or Lasdun and Pascal will play Nunez. What has been announced is that both actors are set to executively produce the series.

Steve Conrad, best known for writing the films The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and The Pursuit of Happyness, is set to write and executively produce My Dentist’s Murder Trial. Conrad will also direct the first episode.
Currently, there’s no exact release date for the new mini-series. But considering Harbour won’t start filming for Stranger Things Season 5 until next year, and Pascal has completed filming for The Mandalorian Season 3 and the highly anticipated upcoming series The Last Of Us (based on the video game of the same name), it’s likely that filming for My Dentist’s Murder Trial has either already begun or will begin very shortly.
Ultimately, this means that the series will probably land on HBO and its streaming services, HBO Max and Binge, next year in 2023. And we can’t wait because come on; Harbour and Pascal starring in a crime drama? It’s bound to be awesome.
If you’ve still not seen either Stranger Things or The Mandalorian, firstly, where the hell have you been? But, to rectify your error, you can stream them now on Netflix and Disney Plus, respectively.

A flight attendant has just shared a video explaining how to join the ‘mile high club’ without getting caught. Many people were amazed, while others were horrified, preferring to believe the mile-high club is just a myth.
A flight attendant has left the good people of TikTok scratching their heads and rubbing their eyes. That’s right: though you might have thought the ‘mile high club’ was a relic from the past, an urban myth, or something too risque to ever contemplate, according to @cierra_mistt – with the right level of planning – it can actually be a ~thing~.
Cierra explains in her video that you need to select your seat “either right next to the restroom or in the very back row.” She then says: “once we’re up in the air and we complete our service of drinks and snacks, normally flight attendants either hang out in one area with each other in the front, in the back or in the crew rest rooms.”
She continues: “Now, while it’s mandatory for us to do walk-throughs to make sure everything’s going smooth we only have to do them every 20-30 minutes. I think you know where I’m going on this one.”
WATCH: Flight attendant @cierra_mistt explains how to join the mile high club without getting caught
“After that walk-through you have about 20-30 minutes to do your thing and unless a passenger sees you doing it flight attendants are not going to. Between you me, and the flight attendants and pilots, if they see something, 99% [of the time] they just bat a blind eye.”
She then said she’s not telling people to go and do it, but just “do with that information as you will.”
Hundreds of comments have amassed below her video. The response was divided into two camps. First, there are those that can’t believe that – in this day and age, where you usually have to queue to use the bathroom, and where most flights are chock full of people – anyone would be brazen enough to think they might be able to join the mile high club without another passenger noticing.

As one TikTok user put it: “I honestly thought it was a myth!” Cierra responded to this “it’s literally our own in-flight entertainment.” Others said they thought it was rude and gross. One wrote: “or u can just like not do it and wait till u land and get to your house or hotel.”
“Don’t do it the bathrooms rarely get cleaned.”
Another asked what the consequence of getting caught would be, to which Cierra replied: “Maybe embarrassing remarks from staff… Other than that (and coming from first hand) the reward >>>>>>> the risk.”
Another TikTok user quipped: “So that’s what turbulence is.”
Yet others simply could not get past the horror of imagining “opening the door after and someone is waiting to want to use the toilet as you both have to walk out.” And really – that’s a pretty fair concern.

After months of rumours, it’s finally been confirmed: Porsche is joining Formula 1, with the famous performance car brand revealing plans to take a 50% stake in Red Bull, one of the sport’s top teams.
Volkswagen Group has long been open about the fact they want to join F1 through two of their best-known brands, Audi and Porsche – but it hasn’t been clear in what form these entries would look like.
Now, according to documents filed with the Moroccan national competition regulator (of all places), Porsche wants to acquire a 50% stake in Red Bull Racing – a landmark move.
Why Morocco? Porsche and Red Bull had to file with the antitrust authorities of up to 20 countries, including those outside the European Union, including Morocco.
The official announcement was supposed to go out during the Austrian Grand Prix – but because the FIA World Motor Sport Council did not approve the 2026 engine regulations before the 29th of June as planned, it delayed Porsche’s official confirmation, Germany’s Motorsport-Total reports.
Anyway, what this means is that Porsche is officially joining the sport, and will collaborate with Red Bull on a new power unit for 2026. While Red Bull’s sister team AlphaTauri is not mentioned in the document, it’s a foregone conclusion that AlphaTauri would also be running Porsche power units in 2026 as part of the deal.

What about Audi?
While the Porsche deal seems more concrete, the Audi deal seems less settled. Previously, Audi was linked with a deal with McLaren, but now it seems that Sauber (who currently competes under the Alfa Romeo name for branding purposes) is the likely candidate.
According to Autosport, Audi is still negotiating with Sauber owner Finn Rausing about the acquisition of 75% of the team’s shares.
The Audi deal, unlike the Porsche deal, will likely see Audi become a fully-fledged factory team – or, potentially, they go the Alfa Romeo route and get their name on Sauber’s car (although this seems less likely).

Have you heard about PayID but still aren’t sure what it is or if it’s safe? Or have you just arrived in Australia and have no idea what someone means when they ask “have you got PayID?” Allow us to explain all.
Transferring money to friends and family is something of a common occurrence. If you’ve been out to a meal with a large group of people and you want to transfer your share to the person who paid, PayID makes it incredibly simple. This is because uses the person’s phone number to find their account details.
All you need to do is enter their mobile phone number, select how much money you want to send and boom, it’s done.
Still confused? Don’t worry. In this guide we’ll explain what PayID is, how it came to be, which banks support it, how to use and more.
In this PayID guide…
What Is PayID?
PayID is a form of digital identification, unique to you, that you can use to accept monetary payments from someone else. This form of ID can be your phone number, an email address or an ABN if you’re a sole trader with a business banking account.
PayID is the unique identifying information that Osko uses to make near real-time payments.
PayID was released on February 13th 2018 as part of the New Payments Platform in Australia. The NPP is an industry-wide payments platform that incorporates both PayID and Osko.
Since its launch, PayID has been adopted by more than 60 Australian banks and more than 100 Australian banks use the NPP payments platform.
How To Set Up PayID?
If you haven’t already set up PayID within your particular bank’s smartphone app, then you will to do this first. The exact set-up process may differ from bank to bank, but on the whole, you should be able to find PayID settings within the ‘My Account’ section of your bank’s app.
We’ll use the CommBank PayID set-up process as an example of the steps you need to take.
- Open the CommBank app and sign in to your account
- Press the button in the top left of the screen. It will either have an image of a small person or will show your initials
- Once in your Account section, PayID will be presented as a clear option, alongside your Personal Details and your Tax File Number information.
- Press the PayID icon and you will be taken to the PayID settings screen
- From here, press “Add a PayID”. You can then choose to use your phone number and/or email address to be used as your PayID.
- That’s it, your PayID is now set up
How To Use PayID?

The exact method for using PayID will depend on which Australian bank you bank with, as the process within the companion smartphone application could be slightly different.
For the majority of cases, however, you will want to complete the following steps (we’ve used CommBank’s PayID payment process as an example):
- Click ‘Pay’ from the home screen of your banking app and then select ‘Pay Someone’
- To find someone saved in your contacts to pay via PayID, press ‘Mobile Number.’ This then brings up a list of contacts saved on your phone.
- Find the contact you wish to pay and select them
- You will then be presented with that person’s PayID details, including their name and mobile number. Confirm these are correct before proceeding
- On the next screen, simply enter the amount of money you want to send your contact, and enter a description. You have a 280-character limit
- Click ‘Next’ in the top right of the screen and your payment will be mad
If you want to pay someone via PayID who isn’t stored in your contacts, then you just need to do something slightly different.
- After selecting ‘Pay Someone’, you will need to press the ‘+’ icon in the top right of the screen
- You will be asked which PayID method you wish to use: Mobile number, Bank account, Overseas transfer or more (the ‘more’ section is where you can find someone to pay via email address, ABN or organisation ID).
- Select Mobile Number
- Enter the recipient’s Australian mobile number and press ‘next’
- You will be asked to confirm the account details associated with the mobile number you’ve entered
If you want to send money using PayID to a business or a sole trader, just follow the same steps as those above, but select the ‘More’ option after the ‘+’ and select ABN or Organisation ID.
Now, when someone wants to pay you using PayID, they will just need to enter either your phone number or email address (whichever you used to register for PayID) and they will instantly find your bank account details.
The other person enters the amount of money they wish to send you and then it is sent in real-time via Osko, and should appear in your bank account immediately. If the money doesn’t appear in your bank account immediately, don’t worry, some banks can withhold payments for security checks before approving the payment.
How Long Does PayID Take?
With the majority of PayID transactions, any money you send to someone else, or any money you receive, should arrive instantly in the recipient’s bank account.
If, however, you’re sending money to someone for the first time, your bank may hold the payment for security checks. This can depend on the bank you’re with, or the bank the recipient is with. If payment is held, it should be processed within 24 hours.
Which Banks Support PayID?

The vast majority of Australian banks support PayID or Osko. However, in some instances, a bank may support Osko, but not PayID. Current banks that support PayID include:
- ANZ
- Australian Military Bank
- Australian Unity
- Bank Australia
- Bank First

In a world filled with bland cars, the new Peugeot 3008 is an eclectic yet fundamentally well-rounded vehicle that proves France can do luxury cars just as well as their German or British rivals.
For a long time, buying a French car in Australia was to make a bold sort of statement about yourself. Why? Well, unlike in Europe, French car brands can’t compete on price in Australia. At the same time, French cars have typically lacked the refinement, reliability or all-out performance credentials of cars from other European nations, such as Italy, Germany or the UK.
Therefore, the only reason you’d buy a French car as an Aussie was to make a style statement… And this is something French cars deliver in spades. French cars have always been a bit weird. There’s just something about the Gallic approach to car design where they’re more willing to experiment; offer quirky features.
Think about the Citroën C4 Cactus, with its anti-trolley ‘AirBump’ panels and upright glovebox; the Matra Murena with its single, three-abreast seating row (in a sports coupe!) or the bizarre rear end of the Renault Mégane II. French car designers revel in the strange and love taking risks.
The new Peugeot 3008 also follows in the grand tradition of funky French design – but in the best possible way. Even more surprising is that it gives you another reason to choose a French car: luxury. Indeed, we reckon this fun compact crossover is a proper luxury car, and one that really brings the fight to entrenched European luxury brands.

First of all, the car just looks great, especially the top-spec GT Sport model we drove, which features an exclusive black appearance package – you know how we feel about ‘peasant trim’. There’s no mistaking a 3008: Peugeot’s current angular design language is one of the best in the business and does much to elevate the brand. The sunburst-like, frameless grille design is a particular highlight.
The inside is even more striking. It’s like being on the inside of a piano – not only because there are swathes of wood trim and piano black everywhere, but the piano key-like switchgear and instrument-like touches of chrome offer a truly luxurious driving experience. It feels and looks like a car from a prestige brand.
You’re always reminded that you’re driving a French car but in a good way. The almost octagonal two-spoke steering wheel frames a small, Toyota Echo-style deep-set gauge cluster that displays speed and revs as rotating, angled cylinders. The gear shift has a fighter jet-like trigger design that’s a bit oddball. It’s weird, and that’s okay.
The 3008’s seats are also the most comfortable seats I’ve ever experienced in a car other than an Aston Martin… But that’s a comparison we reckon Peugeot would be happy with.

What’s really striking is the fit and finish of the interior. I had a good old yank on everything, as I usually do with new cars, and nothing budged. Everything feels solid and purposeful, from the angular flappy paddles to the small yet effective infotainment system. French cars have never been known for their build quality so the 3008 is a real paradigm shift.
The engine and transmission are butter smooth, with the GT Sport’s turbocharged number a particular gem. Surprisingly peppy with a very linear power band and a beautiful engine note, I was surprised by how dynamic the driving experience was. Again, I had to remind myself – this isn’t a German car. It’s a French car.
RELATED: Germany’s Top Car Brands Are In A Spot Of Bother Thanks To Tesla
Not all of the 3008’s weird French features are totally charming. The steering wheel is bizarrely small, for example. The cruise control module, which is mounted to the steering column, is easy to use once you get the hang of it, but there’s a steep learning curve – and the way it’s mounted means that the steering wheel obscures it during normal driving, meaning you can’t easily operate it on the road if you’re not familiar with it.
I also found out the hard way that if you open the door when you’re stationary but not in park, the car sets of sirens so shrill you’d think you were being targeted by a Russian nuke. Ah well. C’est la vie.

Peugeot is pricing the 3008 ahead of its chief rival, the Volkswagen Tiguan – a bold move. But we totally understand it and think Peugeot is justified in doing so. While there’s much to be said about straight-laced Teutonic German car design, it comes up short in comparison to the fun yet luxe design of the 3008.
All in all, I was incredibly surprised by how refined the 3008 was. Peugeot, with this car, has finally stepped up to the level of a luxury car brand – and we’re totally here for it.

Ozark, the gripping series that follows Marty Byrde (the seemingly ordinary financial advisor and family man, who’s actually a money launderer for the second-largest Mexican drug cartel), is one of the best television shows of recent times.
Well-written and featuring an excellent cast, stunning cinematography and thrilling storylines, it’s no surprise that Ozark won 3 Primetime Emmys and was unanimously critically acclaimed during its run. But we’re guessing that you’re still having withdrawals since Ozark ended for good earlier this year. Us too.
But don’t fret, because there are many shows that are just as good and are extremely similar to Ozark. Trust us, these five shows will definitely fill the void Ozark left you with. Enjoy!
Bloodline

7.9 IMDb score, stars Kyle Chandler, Linda Cardellini & Ben Mendelsohn, Drama & Thriller, released in 2015, 3 seasons
This Emmy award-winning series follows dysfunctional family, the Rayburns. And when the black sheep of the family returns home, the Rayburns are forced to face their dark past secrets. Bloodline is extremely similar to Ozark because of the intense family dynamic but also because of the stunning aerial shots that highlight the beauty of the setting.
So, you know how Ozark is filled with beautiful shots of the Ozarks? Well, Bloodline has beautiful shots of the Florida Keys. Oh and if you’re still not sold, Bloodline is a seriously well-written and smart drama; again, just like Ozark.
Where To Watch: Netflix
Breaking Bad

9.5 IMDb score, stars Bryan Cranston & Aaron Paul, Crime, Drama & Thriller, released in 2008, 5 seasons
Breaking Bad is considered one of the best shows of all time. If you haven’t had a chance to watch it yet, the series follows a meek chemistry teacher who decides to become a meth manufacturer when he’s diagnosed with cancer.
Breaking Bad has very similar elements to Ozark; the most obvious being that the series also follows a family man with a dark, criminal secret. If you like Ozark, you’ll love Breaking Bad.
Where To Watch: Stan
Dexter

8.7 IMDb score, stars Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter & David Zayas, Crime, Drama & Mystery, released in 2006, 8 seasons
Dexter follows Miami forensics expert Dexter Morgan, who spends his days solving crimes… but his nights committing them. Yes, Dexter lives a double life as a serial killer who targets other murderers who weren’t ‘punished enough’ by the justice system. Sure Dexter is focused on murder rather than money laundering but it does still share similarities to Ozark.
For example, both Dexter and Marty seem like normal, upstanding guys but are both entangled with crime, and both shows explore complicated family dynamics. Trust us, you should definitely give Dexter a try if you’re an Ozark fan.
Where To Watch: Paramount Plus
Narcos

8.8 IMDb score, stars Pedro Pascal, Wagner Moura & Boyd Holbrook, Biography, Crime & Drama, released in 2015, 3 seasons
If your favourite thing about Ozark were the plotlines concerning the Navarro drug cartel, then Narcos is for you. Narcos centres around the true-life story of Pablo Escobar as well as how cocaine drug cartels grew and spread around the world.
Filled with brutal, bloody conflict as well as exceptional performances, especially from Pascal, Narcos is a serious must-watch.
Where To Watch: Netflix
Sneaky Pete

8.1 IMDb score, stars Giovanni Ribisi, Marin Ireland & Shane McRae, Crime & Thriller, released in 2015, 3 seasons
This underrated series is perfect for Ozark fans. Sneaky Pete follows Marius, a con man who assumes the identity of his former prison cellmate, Pete, as he’s trying to evade a vicious gangster. Marius then reunites with Pete’s estranged family, who totally buy that he’s Pete, but Marius soon realises that Pete’s family may be more dangerous than the vicious gangster…
Marius is constantly put in tough situations that he must wriggle out of in Sneaky Pete and it’s these moments that are very reminiscent of Ozark.

Nicolas Cage has long been one of Hollywood’s most enigmatic and bizarre figures… But just as his career is receiving an unexpected renaissance, he’s also emerged as one of 2022’s most stylish men.
The 58-year-old actor and iconoclast, who is currently in the midst of an unprecedented career resurgence thanks to critically acclaimed appearances in films like Pig and The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, has always had a rather unique fashion sense.
Maybe that’s why cult luxury fashion label Casablanca Paris tapped him to head up the campaign for their new Fall/Winter 2022 collection. Cage has long been a fan of the brand, so it’s a natural fit.
Many celebrity appearances in fashion campaigns end up feeling rather forced and cringe… But Cage’s is the opposite of that. Indeed, he looks so good and pulls off the modelling gig so effortlessly that we reckon he’s on his way to becoming a style icon as well as a movie icon.

The campaign, shot by acclaimed French photographer Hugo Comte, sees Cage draped in mafiosi-esque fits that despite being part of the label’s fall/winter collection, seem incredibly summery.
He even gets behind the wheel of a late-90s Mercedes-AMG coupe for some extra vibey shots. What a king.

Cage is set to star as Count Dracula (because of course he is) in Renfield, an upcoming horror-comedy film directed by former Robot Chicken showrunner Chris McKay and also starring Nicholas Hoult and Awkwafina. Hoult plays the titular role, a henchman to Cage’s Dracula who decides to leave his line of work after falling in love. Sounds very Nicolas Cage.

Ever wondered how the world’s most luxurious boats get built? We share a behind-the-scenes look at how one of the biggest superyachts ever made was constructed.
Lürssen Yachts, a German shipyard that’s made many of the biggest and most luxurious superyachts on the high seas – including the world’s biggest superyacht, Azzam – has shared an intriguing look at the build process behind one of their most impressive superyachts, the 160m-long Blue.
First launched earlier this year in February and currently on her maiden voyage to Malta, Blue reportedly cost US$600 million and is officially the fourth largest superyacht in the world, taking the title from another famous Lürssen boat, Dilbar (which is the largest yacht in the world by gross tonnage).

Details shown include the installation of the yacht’s multiple massive diesel engines, the construction of the yacht deck by deck, and the flooding of the drydock – letting the mammoth boat head out to sea.
WATCH the construction of Blue below.
Blue is one of the world’s most innovative superyachts. The yacht is one of the largest in the world to be equipped with diesel-electric power hybrid propulsion, Boat International reports, as well as an advanced wastewater treatment system, two helipads, a huge swimming platform and forward stateroom balconies on either side of the ship.

The luxe superyacht is reportedly owned by Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, better known as Sheikh Mansour: the billionaire deputy prime minister of the United Arab Emirates and member of the Abu Dhabi royal family.
Blue forms just a small part of his insane personal wealth and investment portfolio. Among other acquisitions, Sheikh Mansour owns the City Football Group, which in turn owns football clubs around the globe including Manchester City FC, Melbourne City FC, New York City FC, Girona and Palermo, among others.
