Daniel Craig chomping on cigars. Daniel Craig feeding a cat. Daniel Craig wielding a spear gun. Daniel Craig wielding a PPK in immaculately fitted short shorts. It’s all happening on the set of the yet-to-be-named 25th Bond film that’s currently shooting in sunny Jamaica. So if you hate spoilers, look away now.
According to producers, the film will see Daniel Craig’s James Bond having left active Mi6 service in the opening scenes.
This probably explains why he’s in Jamaica gutting fish and hanging out with local cats like a good retired super spy.
The next sequence of photos depict a familiar face though. CIA operative Felix Leiter (played by Jeffrey Wright) who we first met in Casino Royale is also in Jamaica and it looks like he’s brought some Mi6 and the CIA’s predicaments with him.

This leads to a car chase featuring a vintage blue Land Rover which director Cary Fukunaga posted on his own Instagram account just a few weeks ago. There’s rumours that Bond’s next Aston Martin will be fully electric.

There also appears to be a mysterious new villain on the horizon with this masked stranger caught chasing down a victim during filming in the Norwegian snow a few weeks back. Could this be Rami Malek’s origin? You’ll have to wait till 2020 to find out.

Most importantly are you keen to see Daniel Craig’s final outing as James Bond? You should be because the 51-year-old actor is still looking fit as hell.

Whether you call it a keyring, a keychain, a key cover, or a key holder, they’re all a must for the modern-day man. Technology has come so far in recent decades, yet one ancient relic that remains very much needed is the humble key. You need keys for everything from your home to your office to your car, your letterbox, and you’ve likely got a spare one for your parents’ house. The multitude of keys most men carry every day need to be secured in a safe place and that place is a keyring. Like most accessories, keyrings are the unsung heroes of your everyday life; just imagine having to look after six different keys without one!Clearly, a keyring is an extremely important accessory and hence, worthwhile investing in. If he promises you the world then it’s likely he won’t deliver. One unfortunate Norwegian woman learnt that the hard way when she was conned out of $200,000 by an Israeli playboy who dubbed himself the ‘Prince of Diamonds’.Cecilie Fjellhoy, 29, met Shimon Hayut, 28, on Tinder after the pair matched. She claims that she was swept off her feet by the ‘diamond dealer’ who would eventually swindle her and leave her mentally unstable after the ordeal.“It’s just so painful. I just hate myself that I did this,” Fjellhoy told ABC News.“I had to be put into a hospital. Psychiatric ward. Because of suicidal thoughts because I thought my life was over, like I didn’t see a way out. You’ve lost your boyfriend but he didn’t just dump you, he never existed, he was never your boyfriend.”Shimon Hayut had convinced Fjellhoy that he was Simon Leviev, the son of Jewish billionaire diamond merchant Lev Leviev. Just four weeks into their courtship he requested that Fjellhoy take out a line of credit for him in her name as security measure against potential threats against his safety.Hayut managed to use this ‘confidence fraud’ scheme to victimise multiple Scandinavian women and had previously been jailed in a Finnish prison for three years using the same tactics. So what did Hayut spend the money on? Seducing other women. After tricking Fjellhoy into applying for an American Express platinum card with a falsified income of $200,000, the ‘Tinder Swindler’ began maxing out the card, racking up two million Norwegian krone ($200,671) in expenses over 54 days. These expenses apparently went towards paying for Hayut’s two assistants, a bodyguard and flights around the world.Fjellhoy told the Norwegian paper VG that her money was being spent on Louboutins in Bangkok, Gucci in Barcelona, accommodation at the Ritz Carlton in Berlin and at the Conservatory in Amsterdam. $75,000 was spent on the AMEX between March 2 and March 25. He was also using the money to seduce another Swedish female named Pernilla Sjoholm. Hayut apparently used the same ‘son of a billionaire’ story.Sjoholm told VG that she also wired Hayut money to the sum of $35,000. This is on top of the $10,000 that Hayut took from Fjellhoy before using it to take his new girlfriend to the opera via limousine.Whilst the swindle may seem obvious to some, Fjellhoy admits that she was taken in by his charms and believed Hayut was a real CEO who would eventually reimburse her. She says her own feelings of love towards Hayut were genuine but he was seducing other women at the same time he was sending her sweet good morning messages.Fjellhoy says that she has learnt her lesson from the experience and is much less naive and trusting. Hayut, according to the Times of Israel, has been wanted for crimes in relation to theft, forgery and fraud since 2011. He also has a record in England, Norway and Sweden.

There must be something in the water in Iceland. Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, better known as ‘The Mountain’ from Game of Thrones is renowned for his freakish frame which sees him standing at 2.06m tall and weighing 205kg. He has held the title as the ‘World’s Strongest Man’ thanks to this insane 473kg deadlift.
View this post on Instagram
Hold up your jaw for a second though because you’d be hard pressed to believe that Björnsson wasn’t born this way. Before he became ‘The Mountain’, he played for the Icelandic basketball team in the U17 and U18 divisions. As with most basketballers pursuing a professional career, injury would eventually end his career at the age of just 20 after an ankle surgery. “I was very sad,” he told ESPN. “I wasn’t sure what the next step was.”The next step was in the gym and it was here that Björnsson began his love affair with lifting heavy. “I’ve always enjoyed lifting heavy. I saw extremely good results. I just got hooked, seeing how strong I got and how much my body changed,” he said.
Safety Bar Squats
- 242kg
- 3 sets
- 8 reps
From there the 30-year-old began entering strong man contests and continued to move up the ranks. The rest they would say is history. These days Björnsson consumes up to 10,000 calories a day to maintain his build and strength. Based on his training program, there’s also endless bouts of lifting involved. It’s an exercise which Björnsson had to employ in order to score the role as ‘The Mountain’ in Game of Thrones.
Stone To Shoulder Lifts
- 194kg using natural stone
Björnsson explains that the audition process was bizarre. “They asked me to pick one guy up to see if I was strong enough. I picked the man up over my head easily. They were very surprised: ‘Woah, OK you’re strong.'”
Bench Press
- 190kg
- 3 sets
- 5 reps
Whilst the exercises have helped forge this physique, Björnsson has admitted to using steroids in the past. “When you want to be the best, you do whatever it takes,” he told ESPN. He wasn’t keen to elaborate on his steroid use though. When queried on how often he takes steroids and whether he still does, the actor replied: “Can we just skip those questions?”
A Mountain’s Diet
Needless to say, reaching this level of physical stature takes an insane amount of food intake. In an older post listed his World’s Strongest Man diet complete with the disclaimer: “Yes this is a lot & I don’t recommend YOU to try this!!”

Although they portray a life of pink-hued sunsets, easy smiles, golden tans and delicious cocktails, it’s bloody hard to make a living as a ‘professional traveller’. Just think about it: how many people would give anything to escape the daily grind and book a round world flight with their partner? Now: how many actually make it happen (and get paid to do so).
Anyway, whether you’re planning your own ‘escape’ or you’re simply looking to live vicariously for a minute, it’s hard to know which accounts to follow as they’re all so bright and beach-y. And if you’re not careful, you’ll end up with 2000 identical sources of ‘inspiration’.
Suffice to say: being discerning about who you follow is essential to your sanity, reputation and status in Instagram’s finely tuned algorithm. While this task will depend on your personal tastes and aims, we thought we’d make it a little easier by recommending an absolute must-follow account for any aspiring globetrotter.
Marie Fe and Jake Snow are like if Daenerys and Jon Snow lost the crows-feet and pale skin, and decided to travel the world together. And while their families were initially as confused about their ‘internet dream’ as a non Game Of Thrones watcher is about the phrase “winter is coming”, as can be seen by their 487k followers, the risk paid off.
Whether you want to learn editing tips, be inspired by creative photo framing, stay informed about the ecological issues our planet is facing, gain an insight into new cultures or simply gorge your eyeballs on some of the world’s more pristine destinations, these guys have you covered.
Starting with a post of theirs that recently went viral, Marie and Jake’s second visit to the Komodo Islands exposed a significant problem with tourists leaving their rubbish on the beach, taking it from Pink Beach to Plastic Beach, as they compare two images, side by side from 2018 and 2019.

Sure he’s playing a yellow fur ball with a dialogue that doesn’t extend beyond two syllables, but who’s caring when you look this good in real life. Whilst MET Gala has been the talk of the week, we’re taking men’s style back to Earth by dropping in on Ryan Reynolds‘ press tour for his latest film, Detective Pikachu.
The last time we checked up on the Deadpool star he was already in hot pursuit for the title of this year’s most stylish man. A week on and Reynolds is now showing us one of the most creative ways to wear denim – as a waistcoat. The actor who is due to welcome his third child into the world stepped out in New York in a custom Brunello Cucinelli three-piece suit shod in sand. Fitment of course is paramount and Reynolds pulled it off with ease thanks to his gun stylist who kept things casual with a brown pocket square sans tie and belt. The real talking point though is that denim waistcoat.
It adds an entirely different dimension to the suit and plays perfectly with a white shirt and denim in the layering contrast game. More conventional waistcoats are often constructed in cotton, wool or linen. Denim used in this style often suits a more semi-casual affair, a look which Reynolds has mastered over the years. Reynolds finished off the suit with black lace-ups for the day…

Come show time though and Reynolds polished up with a similar looking Brunello Cucinelli linen-blend suit by adding a black tie and switching up the black dress shoes for a tanned pair. Socks? striped. Shirt? Buttoned up. Collars? Buttoned down. The denim waistcoat however was gone. But hey, at least you know how to layer denim with a suit now. Proceed with stylish caution, gents.

When your roommate turns the dishwasher on halfway through your shower two things will likely happen. First, you’ll curse their selfish, clean-freak ways. Then you’ll notice the freezing cold water on your back is actually… not that bad. Pleasant, almost. You cautiously unpeel your body from the wall and shift back under the liquid nitrogen curtain.Bliss.If you haven’t experienced this; you’re missing out. If you have, you’ll know it can kickstart your day harder than a pimped out espresso. And there’s no surprise that the trend has spread, with study after study suggesting it has serious health benefits. We’re not here to argue with this—cold showers can no doubt boost muscle recovery, immunity, circulation, alertness and even aide with depression. And the media coverage reflects the public’s increasing interest: from Vice’s piece on the popularity of swimming (in trunks) in Brighton’s icy waters to today’s ABC’s report on an Aussie ‘outdoor swim enthusiast’ who travels to New Zealand to swim naked with icebergs, cold water therapy is a burgeoning phenomenon. And that’s not to mention fitness freak, nutritionist and author of The World’s Fittest Book, Ross Edgley, who has showcased some shiver-inducing training sessions on his Instagram.
View this post on Instagram
But as tends to happen with most ‘wellness’ trends, some people have taken it to the extreme. And before this goes mainstream it’s important to understand the health risks, because even people like Peter Hancock, who the ABC today reported, “Has been pursuing outdoor swimming for more than 20 years,” are not immune from “afterdrop”—a potentially deadly phenomenon which occurs after exiting freezing cold water.“I come out cold, but then as the blood from my extremities returns to my core, I’ll start to get cold again,” Mr Hancock told the ABC; “The rewarming, and preparing for that, is very important.”According to Dr Garry Couanis, a specialist sports physician, you can train to increase your body’s capacity to deal with this, but never completely eliminate the risk, telling the ABC, “Cold water cools the body faster than almost any other medium.”“The reason there is so much risk of hypothermia is as warm-blooded animals we rely on … stored energy in our muscles to burn it to generate our own heat,” he added.
“As the body shuts down, the brain gets confused, the heart rate slows, and a slow heart rate puts you at risk of developing arrhythmias.”
Oh and this is all if you get past the initial shock, which can—particularly if you are inexperienced—trigger an automatic and potentially deadly response to inhale. So why, again, do people do it? As Mr Hancock’s next comment suggests—for the same reason they climb mountains, surf and skydive.
‘”It gives you a bit of a buzz.”
