After locals threatened to pelt it with eggs, Jeff Bezos’ 500 million superyacht – Y721 – took an alternative route to another shipyard (in the middle of the night), so that authorities didn’t have to dismantle a historic bridge that was (on the originally planned path) blocking its way.
Y721, Jeff Bezos’ $500 million superyacht, is set to be (once completed), the biggest superyacht in the world. But with great size comes great capacity to piss off Rotterdam bridge lovers.
As reported back in February, Bezos’ yacht – Y721 – was set to have a section of a historic bridge dismantled upon its exit of the shipyard. The bridge was called The Koningshavenbrug, and is known to locals as De Hef. It was renovated in 2017 and the council promised at the time they wouldn’t dismantle it again.
Naturally, some Rotterdam locals were infuriated when news broke of the plan to (temporarily) dismantle the bridge so Bezos’ new yacht could pass through (Y721 is a three-masted yacht, with each mast measuring 70 meters, while The Koningshaven bridge, a former railroad bridge that was the first to be rebuilt after the Nazis bombed the city, offers clearance of just 40 metres).
The request outraged historians, politicians, and some Rotterdam residents, leading the issue to become politicised. This culminated in one resident organising a Facebook event to pelt eggs at it when it passed through (4,000 people reportedly said they would attend, while another 13,600 people indicated they were “interested”).
Things have been quiet on the Rotterdam front for a while, with the last Y721-related news occurring in early July, when reports emerged suggesting Y721 could be stuck in Rotterdam. Fast forward a month though and it seems the super schooner has snuck out.
Autoevolution reported yesterday that Y721 has snuck out of its Dutch shipbuilder Oceanco’s yard under the cover of darkness, taking an alternative “longer and less used route” so that The Koningshaven bridge was not required to be meddled with (and, it seems, to avoid scrutiny).
Yacht enthusiast Hanco Bol, from Dutch Yachting, told Spiegel Business that instead of taking the bridge dismantling route, transport company Koninklijke van der Wees towed Y721 along another, significantly longer route, taking it to another shipyard in the middle of the night.
Bol, who followed the ship’s journey in his car, told Spiegel Business the preparations for the transport of the ship began at 1 a.m., and the towing started at 3 a.m. He said the yacht was taken to the Greenport shipyard in just three hours, when it would usually take about 6 hours.
Bol said he reckons the covert nature of the trip wasn’t accidental. “I think that was intentional,” he told Spiegel Business. “When I was standing on one of the bridges, they shined a searchlight on me, so it wasn’t easy for me to take pictures.”

Y721 – the magnificent 127-metre monstrosity – is still a fair way off being ready for its alleged owner (Bezos hasn’t fessed up to it being his, but industry wide it’s pretty well accepted that it’s Bezos’, Autoevolution reports), but at least it’s now one step closer.
Y721 was supposed to be ready in 2022, but whether it really gets finished before 2023 will depend on how its sea trials go. This is made more complicated by the fact that taking it back and forth between the open ocean and shipyards is trickier for Y721 than other vessels due to its size.
Still: there are worse problems to have. This one probably requires the world’s smallest violin…

Comedian and actor Pete Davidson has had an on-screen presence since 2010, but it’s only been in the last couple of years he has shot up to become one of the most talked-about A-list celebrities in Hollywood. This is thanks in part to him announcing a relationship with Kim Kardashian.
So, who is Pete Davidson, what does he do, what’s his height and who are his ex-girlfriends? Allow us to reveal all.
Pete Davidson Quick Facts:
Name: Peter Michael Davidson
Age: 28
DoB: 16 November 1993
Nationality: American
Height: 6ft 3in / 1.9m
Relationship Status: Single
Net Worth: $8 Million (Estimated)
Who Is Pete Davidson?
Pete Davidson is a comedian, actor and writer from Staten Island, New York. He was born on November 16th 1993 to parents Amy and Scott Matthew Davidson. His father was a firefighter who died on service during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. His father’s death has been used as joke material during stand-up comedy events and celebrity roasts.
Pete Davidson’s career started on MTV, where his most notable acting credit came during an episode of reality TV comedy, Guy Code in March 2013. Following this, he hit the stand-up comedy circuit in the US before appearing on TV police-based sitcom Brooklyn Nine Nine (which can currently be viewed on Netflix).
Pete Davidson amassed a wide fanbase after he joined the cast of the iconic Saturday Night Live late-night comedy sketch television show. He joined the cast in September 2014, becoming one of the youngest cast members ever at the age of 20. Pete Davidson left Saturday Night Live in 2022.
His later film acting credits include What Men Want; The Dirt; The Angry Birds Movie 2 along with upcoming Netflix biopic I Slept With Joey Ramone, in which he will play Joey Ramone of The Ramones.
Who Is Pete Davidson Dating?

Pete Davidson is also known to be a serious womanizer and has a string of high-profile ex-girlfriends.
He can now add Kim Kardashian to that list.
Pete and Kim’s relationship was, if anything, was met with some bewilderment when it was officially announced in November 2021. The pair met after the reality star hosted Saturday Night Live in October.
During the show that Kim K hosted, the pair performed an Aladdin-themed sketch and shared a kiss. A few days later Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian were spotted walking around holding hands.
During these early stages, both Pete and Kim insisted they were friends and were keeping things strictly casual. More so Kim, seeing as she’d only recently split up with ex-husband Kanye West.
However, the pair put an end to the rumours by confirming they were indeed dating on 19 November 2021.
The couple made a number of red carpet appearances together during their relationship, and properly confirmed it at the Hulu and Disney Plus premiere of The Kardashians, as well as the 2022 Met Gala.
But, as of August 2022, Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian have called time on their relationship after just 9 months together. While it was initially reported that Kim was the one to end the relationship, a second report came out claiming the opposite, that it was Pete who wanted things to end because he couldn’t accept the fake nature of The Kardashians reality TV series.
Pete Davidson Ex-Girlfriends
Pete Davidson has perhaps spent more time in the public eye for his relationships than he has his television and movie roles.
Pete’s most high-profile previous relationship was his engagement to pop singer Ariana Grande. The pair started dating in May 2018 and were engaged in June of the same year. However, the engagement was called off in October 2018. Ariana Grande wrote a couple of songs about Pete and their relationship, titled “Pete Davidson,” and “Thank U, Next.”
Pete has also been linked with actress Kate Beckinsale, who is 20 years his senior. The pair dated between January 2019 and April 2019.
Pete’s other ex-girlfriends include model Kaia Gerber (October 2019 – January 2020), actress Margaret Qaulley (ended in October 2019) and Bridgerton actress Phoebe Dynevor (April 2021 – August 2021).
Pete Davidson Dad
We’ve already touched upon Pete Davidson’s dad, revealing that he passed away during the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York City. But aside from just being a father to the comedian and a courageous firefighter, Scott Davidson is said to have been a hero to practically everyone he met.
One of Pete Davidson’s most recent film projects, The King of Staten Island is loosely based on his own life, and even includes the storyline of the main character’s father being a firefighter who has passed away. It is likely this character is based on Pete’s father, Scott Davidson.
Scott Davidson was last seen helping people evacuate a Marriott hotel before the North Tower of the World Trade Center collapsed onto it, likely killing Pete’s dad immediately. Scott was part of Ladder 118. The firetruck he was on was captured in an iconic photo taken on 9/11.

Scott Davidson was born on 4 January 1968 in Brooklyn, New York, before moving to Staten Island when he was two. He was a keen athlete at school, playing both baseball and basketball for his various schools and colleges. After he left school, Scott Davidson became a substitute teacher, but always expressed an interest in one day becoming a firefighter.
He passed his firefighter’s exam in 1994. He continued playing basketball for the firefighter’s team and even coached other teams too.
Pete Davidson Tattoos

If he isn’t known for his comedy or his relationship with Kim Kardashian, then Pete Davidson is known for his tattoos. Pete is said to have over 70 tattoos on his body, although, according to Insider, he has said he wishes to now get them all removed.
Pete has opened up in interviews to say he started getting tattoos to cover up self-harm marks on his chest.
Some of Pete Davidson’s tattoos include an image of the alien from the 1996 comedy sci-fi film Mars Attacks on his right pectoral, the number ’93 to indicate his birth year in the middle of his chest, a micro heart and a micro cube on his right hand, a portrait of the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg and a white angel on his back.
Other tattoos include a quote of Albus Dumbledore’s from the Harry Potter series, some of the planets in the solar system on his left arm and a kneeling firefighter at the top of his left arm, in honour of his father.
Pete Davidson’s Net Worth
Thanks to his long stint with Saturday Night Live, which is said to have earned him $15,000 per episode, plus several acting credits under his belt, Pete Davidson currently has an estimated net worth of $8 million.
Pete Davidson Health
Pete Davidson was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at the age of 17 or 18. He uses medicinal marijuana to help with treatment and pain, but he also uses it recreationally.
In a since-deleted Instagram post from 2017, Pete Davidson claimed he was off drugs – except from the medicinal marijuana – and was now sober. Pete has also been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, and has since spoken on comedian Marc Maron’s podcast, saying he is “depressed all the time.”

Lewis Hamilton has never been afraid to take risks, whether that’s on the track or on the runway – and his latest sartorial adventure only reinforces that reputation.
The seven-time Formula 1 World Champion (and F1’s most stylish man) has just announced a partnership with Italian luxury house Valentino – a brand he’s frequently been seen wearing over the years – for the brand’s autumn/winter 2022-23 collection, titled the Pink PP Collection.
As you may have been able to guess, the collection revolves around a single colour: pink. Lewis has always said that purple’s his favourite colour (go figure) but we reckon he looks pretty good in this monochromatic Valentino fit.
Why ‘Pink PP’, though? Because Valentino’s creative director is called Pierpaolo Piccioli. Get your mind out of the gutter…
These days, straight men are largely comfortable with the idea of a salmon jacket or trousers, but full-on hot pink is another prospect entirely. But as HAM shows, real men can wear pink.

The highlight of the fit is the AU$1,380 One Stud Low-Top Nappa Leather sneakers Lewis has got on. The 37-year-old Brit has always been a big fan of chunky sneakers, and we reckon these joints look pretty good in pink.
This isn’t the first time Lewis has experimented with bold colours. Take this orange jumpsuit he rocked before the 2021 Dutch Grand Prix. He’s even done all-pink before – check out this double denim look he wore in 2020.

Hamilton’s got the time to go off and do fashion shoots as the F1’s on a bit of a break at the moment. We’re just over halfway through the 2022 Formula 1 World Championship, with the next race, the Belgian Grand Prix, not until the 26th-28th of August.

Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino has revealed that he loved Top Gun: Maverick and surprisingly had nothing but praise for the Top Gun sequel.
Top Gun: Maverick, the recent sequel to the 1986 film Top Gun, has been pretty much all anyone can talk about when it comes to the film industry. And rightly so – Top Gun: Maverick is smashing box office records and featured some impressive stunts that the actors actually performed themselves.
And now Quentin Tarantino, the Oscar-winner who’s considered one of the best directors of our time, has shared his thoughts on Top Gun: Maverick. Appearing as a guest on the ReelBlend podcast, Tarantino gushed about how much he loved the Top Gun sequel.
“I f**king love Top Gun: Maverick. I thought it was fantastic.”
Quentin Tarantino
The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and Pulp Fiction director called the sequel a “spectacle” and praised both Top Gun: Maverick and Steven Spielberg’s recent film, West Side Story for providing him with a classic cinema experience.
“I saw it at the theatres. That and Spielberg’s West Side Story both provided a true cinematic spectacle, the kind that I’d almost thought that I wasn’t going to see anymore. It was fantastic.”
Quentin Tarantino
Tarantino has long been a fan of Tony Scott, who directed the original Top Gun film but didn’t direct the sequel as he sadly passed away in 2012, and was highly impressed that Joseph Kosinski, who stepped in to direct Top Gun: Maverick, paid homage to Scott’s directing style.

“[Joseph Kosinski] did a great job. The respect and the love of Tony [Scott] was in every frame. It was almost in every decision. It was consciously right there, but in this really cool way that was really respectful. And I think it was in every decision Tom [Cruise] made on the film.”
Quentin Tarantino
“It’s the closest we’re ever going get to seeing one more Tony Scott movie, and it was a fucking terrific one.”
For a spilt second, it seemed that Tarantino had one complaint about Top Gun: Maverick in an otherwise glowing review. The filmmaker said the scene where Tom Cruise’s character Maverick and Val Kilmer’s character Iceman reunite was “almost too cheap.”
But then Tarantino clarified that even though the emotional scene bordered on gimmicky, it still totally worked.
“But it absolutely works. It’s a bit like Charlie Chaplin dying on stage for the last scene of Limelight… but it f**king works. You’re waiting for it and the fucking scene delivers.”
Quentin Tarantino
Who could’ve guessed that the director renowned for unpredictable and violent films would love Top Gun: Maverick – a rather straightforward and wholesome film. Maybe Tarantino will volunteer to direct Top Gun 3; although that’d probably result in the Top Gun franchise taking a dark turn.

Russian influencer Sergey Kosenko has left many of his 5.9 million followers with their jaws on the floor by jumping over a Grand Canyon lookout fence and skidding to a halt right next to the cliff’s edge.
Russian influencer Sergey Kosenko has shocked followers with an even riskier stunt than usual. The influencer, whose main claim to infamy is being kicked out of Bali for riding a motorcycle off a jetty, is, in a way, Russia’s answer to Dan Bilzerian. He goes all out to be a caricature of what he thinks the Internet wants to see, being ridiculous, brash, offending sensibilities, hamming it up, etc.
His ‘no f*cks given’ approach to content creation has nearly seen him come a cropper though, with a recent video showing him celebrating his birthday by coming close to falling into The Grand Canyon. In the video, Kosenko can be seen jumping the safety fence while a woman screams. He then lands on his feet, before falling on his back and sliding for a couple of feet, before stopping right on the edge.

Comments (translated from Russian) left below the video include a range of shock, horror and awed remarks. “Pzdts. I already shrank,” one follower said. “What won’t you do for views?” asked another. A third chimed in with: “Sergey, are you an adrenaline addict?!”
Another interesting couple of comments include: “ Quit it… Life is one and deep joy can be found in quieter things” and “I have only one question… Why did you jump?”
“Happy birthday! Don’t ever do that again – think of your mom when you want to do something like that Kapeeets!!!”

Finally, we’ll round it out with two more choice comments, which capture the popular sentiment quite well. “ Sergey, what are you?! Don’t risk it unnecessarily,” one read, while the other said: “Thank God they’re alive! content won’t make itself, risky guy.”
There’s no word on whether this stunt will get Kosenko into hot water in America, but if he does get booted from the United States that’ll make two countries he’s not welcome back to.
Such is influencer life…

Fans were ecstatic when it was confirmed there would be a Joker sequel with Joaquin Phoenix set to reprise his role. And now Lady Gaga has confirmed – after months of speculation – that she will also star in Joker 2, which apparently is going to be a musical.
In early June, Joker director Todd Phillips took to Instagram to confirm that there will be a sequel to his 2019 film. Phillips also confirmed that Joaquin Phoenix would be reprising his role as the titular character.
And days after Phillips made the Instagram post, The Hollywood Reporter reported that Grammy and Academy Award-winner Lady Gaga was in talks to star alongside Phoenix in the Joker sequel – titled Joker: Folie à deux.
Finally, Gaga has confirmed on social media that she will indeed appear in Joker 2.
Looking at her teaser video, it seems that Gaga will play Harley Quinn, the Joker’s sidekick and love interest who debuted in Batman: The Animated Series, and then appeared in numerous DC comics.
Harley Quinn being introduced in the Joker sequel does make a lot of sense considering the film’s title Folie à deux – literally means ‘madness for two’ and, arguably, no other characters in the DC comics are quite as mad as Joker and Quinn.

Plus, as Joker ended with Arthur Fleck a.k.a Joker in Arkham Asylum, the sequel could easily pick up where the first film ended and follow Quinn’s origin story from the comics – Quinn was Joker’s psychiatrist at Arkham but then fell in love with him.
Will Joker 2 be a musical?
Apparently so! Once again, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Joker: Folie à deux will be a musical. This is quite surprising considering how grounded and gritty the first Joker was; although it explains why Gaga has been cast – she’s an accomplished singer and previously starred in the insanely successful musical A Star Is Born.
Plus, Phillips was actually a producer on A Star is Born too, making him the perfect candidate to turn his upcoming Joker sequel into something a little more sing-a-long.
To be perfectly honest though, we can’t really imagine Joker: Folie à deux as a musical. It’s such an extreme genre switch from the first film. That said, most of us were certain there’d never be a Joker performance that would rival Heath Ledger’s, and Joker and Phoenix certainly proved us wrong… Maybe they’ll surprise us again.
Joker 2 Release Date
Joker: Folie à deux will be released on the 4th of October 2024.

Looking for some cool and stylish winter clothes to survive the drop in temperature this year? You’ve come to the right place.
Great men’s winter clothing is all about layering, but it also pays to invest in winter clothing that benefits from high-end technology and premium fabrics, as they’re designed specifically designed to fight the cold. And while it seems the big-name designer brands are creating the best winter menswear, there are also lesser-known brands creating some of the most impressive winter gear too; you just need to know what to look out for.
What to look for in men’s winter clothes
A warm base layer that provides heat retention and moisture-wicking properties is ideal. But, if you’re looking for a looking base layer that feels super soft on the skin, consider flannel or an organic cotton long sleeve top.
Outerwear with a water and wind-resistant layer is essential too, and if your jacket comes with a detachable hood, even better, as it can provide versatility for a range of weather conditions.
You of course also want to make sure your winter clothing has plenty of insulation, without being bulky, as you still want to be able to move around freely.
And, it should go without saying, but you also want your winter clothing to look good. When the temperature drops, you’re going to be wearing your best winter pieces most of the time, so looking good is also par for the course.
Men’s winter clothing FAQs
How should a man dress warm?
Layering is essential when putting together a winter outfit. A moisture-wicking underlayer is excellent, especially when paired with a knit sweater or jumper over the top and a highly insulated jacket. For a casual look, throw on a pair of versatile black jeans and some sneakers. For additional accessories, you may want to consider wearing a scarf and beanie too.
What is the warmest winter fabric?
There's a massive selection of fabrics to look out for when upgrading your winter wardrobe. Wool, cotton, nylon cashmere, hemp, flannel, faux fur, and fleece are all fine high-quality materials to keep you warm.

We’ve already discussed how men in relationships are statistically happier than those who are single, but how do you continue that happiness throughout the lifespan of the relationship? One man thinks he has the secret.
The secret? It all relates to setting relationship boundaries. Similar to work-life boundaries, relationship boundaries refer to defining things you are comfortable with in your relationship and things you’re not so comfortable with. For some, if set boundaries are repeatedly crossed by their partner (or indeed, if the person finds they don’t stick to their own) then the relationship isn’t a healthy one and should come to an end.
And of course, relationship boundaries don’t just have to apply to romantic relationships. As Love Is Respect says, “They apply to any kind of relationship you have – whether with a friend, family member, partner or anyone else in your life.”
Boundaries in a relationship also don’t have to refer specifically to physical behaviours or emotional thoughts or opinions. They can even be digital, as Love Is Respect adds, one such digital relationship boundary could be “I’m cool with following each other on social media but not with sharing passwords.”
Bobby Hobert, founder of the It’s The Bearded Man podcast, mindset coach and man on a mission to “build better men,” recently revealed his top 10 boundaries he has in his relationship, after spending “10 plus years single.”
WATCH: Bobby Hobert’s 10 Relationship Boundaries
Taking to TikTok, Bobby’s 10 relationship boundaries make perfect sense, and we agree all (or at least most) of them should feature in all relationships. The 10 relationship boundaries are:
- Communicate when something is wrong immediately.
- Support each other’s dreams and goals.
- Create a safe word that enables us to have space when in disagreement.
- Full trust in one another when out or not with the partner – here’s looking at all the jealous-type people out there.
- Always respecting each other’s opinions.
- Space in the morning to prioritise our well-being first.
- Never allowing each other’s past to disrupt where we are today.
- To give space to be alone when needed by either of us.
- Working together on lifestyle expenses.
- No screaming or shouting when in disagreement with something.
Bobby’s TikTok video is littered with comments of various opinions. Many are in support of his 10 boundaries, and someone adds “This can all be summed up in one rule. Have mutual respect for each other.” We can’t disagree with this.
But there are a number of people who have commented along the lines of “Giving advice when he was single for 10 years.”
It’s a valid comment, right? How could somebody who doesn’t have a great deal of experience possibly know the secrets to a happy relationship?
It’s similar to those who give fitness advice on social media. If somebody is incredibly jacked, our automatic response may be to follow what they’re doing and listen to them, because they know what they’re talking about, compared to a smaller guy, even if said smaller guy has qualifications. This point is highlighted perfectly by TikTok user @shaunjonescoaching.
As one user says in response to one of the unsupportive comments, “It’s better to be single 10 years and get to really know yourself and what you want from a relationship, than make the same mistakes over and over.”
Other users suggest Bobby’s boundaries will be forced to change if and when he gets married or has kids, “Things get complicated 10x,” says one.
Many users also wanted to highlight boundary number 7. “This is the number one thing that ruins relationships. People go into new relationships with feelings for someone else/emotional baggage.” Indeed, if you’re not over your ex, or you have multiple crushes at one time, then you’re not going to be able to truly give 100% of yourself to your new partner.
How do I know my boundaries?
If you don’t necessarily agree with Bobby’s boundary examples, but you do agree a relationship should have boundaries, then not only do you need to know how to communicate those boundaries with your partner, but you also need to know what your boundaries are in the first place.
If the idea of boundaries isn’t something you’ve thought of before, you might not know how best to figure them out. To offer some help, DMARGE spoke with Samantha Jayne, Relationship Expert and Advisor to Channel 10’s The Bachelor, to get her insights.
Emotions
“Emotions are an excellent indicator of your boundaries. Ask yourself these questions, ‘Do you feel uncomfortable or comfortable?’. Tension and physical ain often is an indicator that your boundaries are being violated, on the other hand, when you feel good it means that is a positive boundary.
Thoughts
“Think of how you feel when you spend time with a particular person. Do you feel happier, or do you become self-critical? If you feel negative and self-critical it is likely that your boundaries are being violated.”
“Perhaps you are being undermined or disrespected. If this is the case, then it’s time to assess and have a voice. Your thoughts and emotions are valid, listen to them.”
Values
“To clearly define your boundaries it is important to consider your values. Think about how you would like to be treated, how you feel, and what are your thoughts when it comes to physical boundaries, emotional boundaries, how you would like to be treated.”
“If it feels good it’s positive, but if it’s negative then it sounds like a boundary was crossed. A good way to reflect is the past, if you have felt pressured into things, or felt hurt, violated or bad, then write that down and that is a broken boundary.”
“Ask yourself how you would like it to be instead, it’s important to communicate this in the future.”
Communication with your partner
Samantha stresses that “communicating boundaries is critical for a healthy relationship.”
“Whilst it can cause fear of rejection or criticism due to not being accepted, if you work on your communication skills, you will find it easier to deliver your boundaries. In addition, it will improve your self-esteem and relationships and confidence. Confidence is considered very sexy so it’s important.”
“People like boundaries, believe it or not, it shows healthy self-esteem and shows you are not a pushover. As a bonus, healthy boundaries prevent you from getting into a toxic relationship. Toxic people don’t like boundaries, so they will gravitate towards someone without them.”
“A good structure to communicate your boundaries is to start with simple sandwich feedback. Positive, negative, positive. You could also use assertive communication such as the following.”
“‘When you (insert action), I feel (insert feeling), I need you to (insert action)’, for example, ‘when you scream at me, I feel disrespected and want to withdraw. I need you to manage your anger/emotions,'”
“To make this an even stronger boundary you can add the consequence at the end, ‘or I will need to leave the relationship’ or ‘we will need to go to therapy.'”
“It is important to use ‘I’ rather than ‘you’ as it feels like you are pointing the finger and it will not be well received.”
Can I/Should I Change My Boundaries?
While it’s highly likely any boundaries you set yourself will remain constant throughout your life, there could come a time where you feel like you could change them slightly, or drop some altogether. Perhaps some of your relationship boundaries were set when you were going through a particularly rough time, but you’ve worked on it and now you feel like you’re in a happier place.
Samantha says you can change your boundaries, but only for the right reasons,
“Boundaries are what keep us safe, you should stay true to yourself and never be pressured to give up your own needs for the sake of someone else. You should never do what you are uncomfortable doing.”
“So don’t change or drop your boundaries if it feels wrong, do it only if you feel ok. Trust your feelings. Take a moment to reflect on how it would feel to alter that specific boundary. This will give you the answer.”
Compromise?
We also asked Samantha what one should do if, for example, the partner met the majority of one’s boundaries (if there are multiple), but there were 1 or 2 that they didn’t quite meet. Would this be cause for the relationship to either never happen, or to end?
“It all depends on you. What are you ok with and what are you not ok with?” Samantha relates.
“It is important to communicate your boundaries and you may need to repeat them over and over until the person hears your boundary.”
“You should also accept that they may not hear, or choose not to respect your boundary. If this is the case, you should question how much this person respects you and whether it is worth it. If your boundaries are not respected, it can create negative feelings of resentment, leads to inner anger and sometimes can affect your self-esteem poorly. It leads to feeling violated and that is never ok.”
“Always trust your gut, and notice how your body feels. Do what feels right.”
The Takeaway?
It’s apparent, then, relationships aren’t necessarily as easy as you may have thought. If you’ve found your partner does something that doesn’t sit right with you, but you’ve often brushed it off, it could well be that they’ve crossed a boundary you hadn’t even thought to set yourself.
Using Samantha’s insights, it may now be time for you to sit down and really consider what you do and don’t want from a relationship, and if the one you’re already in meets those requirements. You could always consider an ENM relationship if it means you’re satisfied in all aspects of a relationship.

When it comes to men’s clothing brands, of course, having some essential labels in your wardrobe is something we all long to aspire to. A men’s statement piece perhaps, or a high-end custom-made suit is going to be worth the large investment if they’re going to see a lot of wear.
But for everyday wear, expensive men’s designer fashion brands doesn’t always mean you’re going to get the best. Fortunately, there are numerous menswear labels available today that are all producing incredibly high-quality clothing, usually with a strong focus on sustainability and ethicality and for incredibly affordable prices.
Men’s designer clothing may be great, but you wouldn’t want to expose your high-end and equally expensive cashmere sweater to everyday threats such as drink spillages or children’s dirty hands.
