The Bentley Bentayga EWB is already one of the most luxurious cars on the planet – but a new option for the prestigious vehicle aims to bring all the comfort, luxury and exclusivity of flying first class to the road.
Bentley has revealed a new option for the extended wheelbase, top-of-the-range SUV fittingly titled ‘Airline Seat Specification’, which purports to be the most advanced seat ever fitted to a car.
Not only does it boast 22 different ways to be adjusted, but it also features the world’s first seat surface sensing system for thermal comfort as well as a mind-blowing postural adjustment system. This is mental stuff that makes even the ritziest first-class flights look like economy in comparison.
The plush, hand-stitched seats can sense passenger temperature and surface humidity with an accuracy of 0.1°C every 25 milliseconds. The system can then determine whether to apply heat, ventilation or both simultaneously to keep the passenger at optimum thermal wellbeing, Bentley explains.
If that’s not crazy enough for you, the postural adjustment system will really do your head in. Developed in collaboration with a chiropractor, it can automatically make micro-adjustments to the passenger’s seating position and pressure points. By subtly changing the shape of the surfaces of the seat over time, no one area of the body endures pressure fatigue for an extended period – meaning the occupant is always comfortable.
Watch: how Bentley makes their new ‘Airline Seat Specification’ seats
Airline Seat Specification also adds further cushioning and backrest bolster adjustment, cushion extension, electric headrest height adjustment and a deployable footrest to the back of the front passenger seat. The rear seat passenger on this side of the car can also move the front passenger seat forwards via a “VIP mode” for even more legroom.
Bentley has confirmed that there’s already been a whopping 50% initial customer uptake for the Airline Seat Specification in the Bentayga EWB – demonstrating how novel and desirable such a unique and high-tech ride experience is.
RELATED: Car Rental Company Now Letting Australians Hire Supercars
Don’t expect it to be cheap, however. Bentley hasn’t confirmed pricing for the spec in Australia, or indeed pricing for the Bentayga EWB. In Australia, the base Bentayga V8 is priced at $378,600 plus on-road costs, so expect the EWB to cost well north of $400,000 – and for it not to be joined by S ($450,200) and Speed ($514,200) versions, Carsales relates.
The Airline Seat Specification would easily cost a few thousand bones…

The Bentayga EWB, which has replaced the Mulsanne EWB at the top of Bentley’s range, is powered by a 4.0L twin-turbo petrol V8 that makes 404kW, does 0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 290km/h.
The Bentayga EWB is available for order in Australia in late 2022 with vehicles expected to arrive in 2023.

The avant-garde luxury watchmaker and the world’s most desirable performance car brand shatter records with their newest creation.
It’s called the Richard Mille RM UP-01 Manual Winding Ultraflat Ferrari and is the result of years of work, dozens of prototypes and more than 6,000 hours of development and laboratory testing, with the Richard Mille team working closely with Ferrari’s engineers. Despite this, it’s taken the watch world completely by surprise – and not just because of how impressive it is.
How thick is it? 1.75mm. That’s only 1mm thicker than a credit card. The movement itself is only 1.18mm.
The RM UP-01 Ferrari beats the previous record holder, the Bulgari Octo Finissimo Ultra, by a not-insubstantial 0.05mm, and the record holder before that, the Piaget Altiplano Ultimate Concept, by 0.25mm.
What’s particularly remarkable about the RM UP-01 Ferrari is that unlike many other ultra-thin watches (such as the Bulgari and Piaget mentioned above), it uses a traditional movement and case assembly rather than having the back case also act as the baseplate. But the wonders don’t stop there…
The watch is a proper collaborative affair. In the course of developing the RM UP-01 Ultraflat, engineers from Audemars Piguet and Richard Mille developed a new type of escapement with a balance wheel in titanium that drastically reduces the calibre’s thickness whilst providing the same security as a conventional Swiss anchor escapement.
RELATED: The Most Expensive Watches Ever, As Of 2022
The upshot of this is that the RM UP-01 Ultraflat’s hand-wound movement, despite its mind-boggling thickness, can withstand accelerations of over 5,000 G, is water-resistant to 10m and has a 45-hour power reserve. The latter is particularly impressive – that’s more than most standard watch movements.
Only a small amount of the flat, wide case’s real estate is actually dedicated to time-telling, with a small central dial less than 1cm wide at what would normally be 12 o’clock, an aperture exposing the movement at 2 o’clock plus two gear holes at 8 and 10 o’clock, which are actually a function selector and the watch’s crown.
With a screwdriver, you can wind the watch using the latter and switch between winding or adjusting the time with the former. It’s a novel solution; a great alternative to having a conventional crown and one that calls to mind a mechanic working on a Ferrari supercar.

Both the movement and the case of the RM UP-01 Ultraflat are made out of grade 5 titanium, favoured for its toughness and light weight in both the automotive and watch industries – indeed, the watch and its strap only weigh 30g. The iconic Ferrari prancing horse and all the details present on the case are laser-engraved to save weight.
A limited-edition of only 150 pieces, it’s priced at a shocking US$1,888,000 (~AU$2,787,060). That’s around US$1,000 for every micron of girth (or lack thereof). Mamma mia.

Of course, Richard Mille and Ferrari have long been partners, with the Swiss watch brand notably sponsoring and supplying Ferrari’s famous Formula 1 team. Richard Mille also has a partnership with McLaren – we wonder if this watch will make them jealous…

Daniel Craig has become one of the biggest names in Hollywood, best known for gracing our screens as James Bond in the last five 007 films. Despite being known for his character’s perchance for shaken martinis, fast cars and beautiful women, there’s more to Craig than that.
So, who is the man behind 007?
Daniel Craig Quick Facts:
Name: Daniel Wroughton Craig
Age: 54
DoB: 2 March 1968
Nationality: English
Height: 5 foot 10 inches / 1.78m
Relationship Status: Married
Spouse: Rachel Weisz
Net Worth: $160m (estimated)
Who is Daniel Craig?
Daniel Craig is a British actor who was born on 2 March 1968 in Chester, Cheshire to parents Carol Olivia and Timothy John Wroughton Craig. Daniel Craig also has an older sister, Lea.
Daniel showed an interest in acting from a young age when he began appearing in school plays from the age of 6. In order to pursue his interest in acting, he attended the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool.
He then moved to London in 1984 after being accepted to attend the National Youth Theatre to study acting as a career.

His education has clearly paid off, and Daniel is now most well-known for his role as British secret agent James Bond, appearing in the last five movies in the franchise. He has now called time on his portrayal of James Bond, with No Time To Die marking his last outing.
He has also appeared in a number of other successful Hollywood movies – he has over 70 acting credits to his name – including Defiance (2008), The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011), Cowboys and Aliens (2011) & Knives Out (2019).
Despite his public profile, Craig has tried to live a private life and has stated he “hates social media” and said “Never, in my whole life, will I be on social media” when talking with Sorted Magazine.
Daniel Craig Movies & Acting Career
After leaving the National Youth Theatre in London, Daniel Craig went on to attend the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he studied alongside the likes of Ewan McGregor and Damian Lewis. He graduated in 1991.

His first role on the big screen came just a year later in the 1992 adaptation of The Power of One. However, after appearing in a string of American and British TV shows and movies, he finally landed what is now considered his breakthrough role in the 1996 BBC drama, Our Friends In The North.
Daniel’s first ‘big’ Hollywood role came when landed a part in the commercially successful 2001 movie, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, appearing alongside Angelina Jolie. Implying he was aware the movie would likely have been poorly reviewed (which it was) Daniel has said his main reason for taking the part was how much it paid.
After Tomb Raider, he started to appear in Hollywood movies more frequently, including Road to Perdition (2002), The Mother (2003), Layer Cake (2004) Munich (2005) and Infamous (2006).

Daniel has also made a cameo in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and starred in the critically and commercially successful mystery movie, Knives Out as private detective, Benoit Blanc. Craig is set to reprise this role in at least two more Knives Out movies.
Daniel Craig James Bond Movies
Daniel Craig hit the big time in a huge way when he was cast as James Bond in Casino Royale (2006) drew some controversy as his physical profile didn’t match the spy depicted in Ian Fleming’s novels – mostly due to his height and blonde hair (all previous Bonds were over 6 feet and had darker features).

Despite this and Craig’s initial reluctance to take the role, his predecessor Pierce Brosnan managed to persuade him to become the sixth actor to play the spy. Many of Daniel Craig’s critics were silenced following the release of Casino Royale and its follow-up movies, with his performances being incredibly well-received.
Craig is now the longest-serving Bond actor, with his 15-year tenure breaking Roger Moore’s previous record of 12 years and is the first Bond to be born after the death of author Ian Fleming in 1964.
Craig’s replacement for the next Bond is still to be announced however it was recently revealed by EON (the production company responsible for 25 Bond movies) that the next film in the franchise won’t be filmed until at least 2024.
Daniel Craig Workout/Diet
While he’s never exactly been out of shape, Daniel Craig had to put on some muscle for his role as James Bond. During his workouts Daniel Craig is claimed to have eaten at least 5-6 light meals a day to keep his metabolism going and to give himself plenty of fuel to burn off at the gym.

He consumes both natural and supplemental proteins and has cut out all junk food as well as smoking from his diet/habits.
For his last role as Bond in No Time To Die, Craig teamed up with trainer and ex-British Royal Marine, Simon Waterson who was also responsible for turning Chris Evans into the buff Captain America. Speaking to Men’s Journal, Waterson’s list of exercises includes abdominal rollouts, pull-ups, dips, squats and resistance bands.
Daniel Craig Net Worth
Daniel Craig’s net worth is estimated at $160 million according to CelebrityNetWorth.
He reportedly earnt $25 million for his final Bond film, No Time to Die and is the highest-paid actor to play James Bond.
On top of this, in 2021, Craig became the highest-paid actor in the world, picking up $100 million after Netflix bought the rights to Knives Out 2 and 3, which means he should live a pretty comfortable life from here on out.
Daniel Craig Wife & Family

Daniel Craig’s mother Olivia, was an art teacher and his father, Timothy, worked as a steelworker and pub landlord.
Craig married actress Fiona Loudon in 1992 and had a daughter, Ella, with her before they divorced in 1994.
Craig and actress Rachel Weisz began dating in December 2010 and got married in a private ceremony in New York on 22 June 2011 with only four guests in attendance (their two children from previous relationships and two friends)
It was reported on 1 September 2018 that Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz welcomed their first child together, a daughter.

There are many things you should avoid saying in an airport or on a plane, if you don’t want to get kicked off a flight. One woman in the US recently learned this the hard way.
Joking about bombs. Faking insanity. Joining the mile high tattoo club. Starting a fight. Showing off your guns. Using the ‘call button’ to ask a flight attendant to fetch you an extra packet of chips… There are a lot of things you shouldn’t do on a flight. But there’s another thing you ought to add to that list, as one US woman recently found out: asking a flight attendant for her name, and then saying: “You might not have a job tomorrow.”
Thats’ right: according to a video on TikTok by user @lockedinout, one woman did exactly that, and got served just desserts. Allow us to set the scene. The video begins with a woman, dubbed Karen for the purposes of the video, saying “I’m not sitting next to a crying baby.”
Watch: Karen Argues With Flight Attendant In Video Below
Another person, perhaps the mother, can be heard replying: “He’s not going to cry the whole time.” A flight attendant then jumps in, saying: “We can put you on the next flight,” to the ‘Karen’ that was complaining.
Karen’s demeanour instantly changes: “No I can’t. I’m going to work.” The flight attendant responds: “Ok then, sit right here.” The video continues: “Right here.”
“I want your name,” Karen says. The flight attendant repeats herself, then gives her name: “Right here. Tabitha 976.”
“Thank you Tabitha. You may not have a job tomorrow,” Karen replies.
This instigates the response: “I want this lady off the plane.” To which Karen says: “No I can’t! I can’t Tabitha.”
The exchange continues: “She was screaming at the baby.” Cue: “I’ll be quiet now please, I’m sorry. I was really stressed out.”
RELATED: Woman Sparks Uproar ‘Doing The Unthinkable’ On Spirit Airlines Flight
Now Karen (as we have dubbed her) has had her name and image have been removed from the [New York State] council’s official website and she’s been placed on a leave of absence, the maker of the video claims. It isn’t entirely clear if this part of the video is referring to ‘Karen,’ but that seems the most likely scenario.

The bulk of the commentary on social media called the woman’s alleged fate karma, with many rushing in to support the flight attendant. All we can say is we can see why airlines are now training flight attendants to kick passengers’ asses. We can really be a pain sometimes, it seems.

Recent social media trends and box office sales highlight that Hollywood is struggling to understand younger generations.
Newer generations having wildly different trends, opinions and senses of humour than those of the generations that came before them is nothing new. I mean, no one really rocks shoulder pads or A Flock Of Seagulls-style haircuts these days, even though they were all the rage in the 80s.
But many things over the years have stayed relatively constant; including the way films are marketed. Sure, things have become more digitalised in recent times; social media posts have replaced physical posters and most people see trailers on YouTube now rather than on free-to-air television.
However, things will need to change in the near future if Hollywood wants to stay thriving. This is because Generation Z, the people born between the late 1990s and early 2000s, – most of whom are now young adults – are proving that Hollywood is completely out of touch when it comes to marketing films.
How? Through surprising and unpredictable box office sales.

For example, Morbius – a Marvel film that was released earlier this year – began trending on social media just a few weeks ago; especially on Twitter and TikTok. So much so, that Sony, the production company behind Morbius, decided to re-release the film into cinemas.
However, what Sony didn’t seem to understand was that Morbius was trending because Gen Z was ironically making fun of it and had no desire to see the film in cinemas. And so, when Morbius was re-released it flopped and cost Sony a lot of money.
Now, Minions: The Rise of Gru – a kids’ film from Universal Pictures that’s currently in theatres – is trending on social media because Gen Z is, again, ironically making fun of the film. So surely, based on what happened with Morbius and Sony, Universal shouldn’t expect young adults to go see Minions: The Rise of Gru in cinemas and shouldn’t market the film to them, right? Wrong.
Social media is now flooded with videos of various groups of Gen Z men flocking to the cinema to see Minions: The Rise of Gru while wearing suits and formal wear. Some of these men are even bringing bananas (the minions’ favourite food) and have posted videos of them throwing the bananas at the cinema screen while the film plays.
The men are doing this to be ironic and, ultimately, to mock Minions: The Rise of Gru but at the end of the day, this ‘trend’ – dubbed Gentleminions – is translating into box office sales. In fact, Minions: The Rise of Gru is smashing box office records and has, so far, made over US$200 million worldwide.
Universal is aware of the trend and its official Twitter account tweeted, “to everyone showing up to Minions in suits: we see you and we love you” a few days ago. But it’s unclear whether Universal actually understand that Gen Z is not purchasing tickets and wearing suits to the film because they genuinely want to see it; they’re doing it for sh*ts and giggles.
What is clear is that, when it comes to Gen Z, it’s unpredictable whether a film trending on social media will actually be reflected at the box office. So, Hollywood will really need to figure out a new marketing strategy if they want to stay in touch with the younger generation…

Joe Rogan has revealed he was offered multiple times to have former President Donald Trump as a guest on his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience. However, Rogan turned down every offer.
On a recent episode of Lex Fridman’s podcast, Joe Rogan – the world’s most famous podcast host and UFC commentator – was a guest and said, “I’ve had the opportunity to have [Trump] on my show more than once; I’ve said no, every time.”
In the past, Rogan has had Bernie Sanders as well as other notable American politicians and political commentators as guests on his podcast, so it’s interesting that Rogan turned down Trump as, assumedly, Trump would’ve wanted to be on The Joe Rogan Experience long before Rogan announced earlier this year that his show was becoming ‘apolitical’. Rogan has also had a lot of right-wing people on the show who he disagrees with. So why not Trump?
Rogan cleared this up with Fridman, revealing that he repeatedly rejected Trump simply because he does not support Trump at all and didn’t want to amplify Trump’s voice and opinions; a tad ironic considering Rogan was happy to have a doctor that has been accused of spreading misinformation about COVID-19 as a guest (making it seem Rogan is perhaps more comfortable with his podcast accidentally influencing public health, but not politics)…
“I’m not a Trump supporter in any way, shape or form… I don’t want to help him. I’m not interested in helping him.”
Joe Rogan
Rogan also spoke about Trump’s presidency in general while on The Lex Fridman Podcast, saying it was a ‘weird’ time and that he believes that because Trump was such a “threat to democracy”, people who were extremely anti-Trump deserted their morals to attack Trump and his supporters.
“The Trump era is also going to be one of the weirder times. When people look back historically about the division in this country, he’s such a polarising figure that so many people felt like they could abandon their own ethics and morals and principles just to attack him and anybody who supports him because he is an existential threat to democracy itself.”
Joe Rogan
Fridman argued that Rogan will one day crack and will have Trump as a guest on The Joe Rogan Experience eventually. If Fridman’s right, that potential episode of Rogan and Trump going head to head will probably become the most infamous podcast episode of all time…

The world’s two biggest rappers both attended the same Independence Day party… But who had the better outfit?
The two hip-hop heavyweights were in Long Island for a glitzy white-themed 4th of July party hosted by Michael G. Rubin, sports entrepreneur and criminal justice reform advocate. It was a star-studded affair, with big-name celebrities like Kendall Jenner, Lil Uzi Vert, Odell Beckham Jr, Travis Scott, and The Chainsmokers all in attendance.
But the biggest stars there were Drake and Jay-Z, who were spotted sharing an animated chat on the dance floor. Jay actually attended the same party last year, where he wore a ‘piece unique’ Richard Mille RM 56-01 reportedly worth over US$2.5 million.
He also wore basically the same outfit he wore last year – if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, we suppose.

Hov rocked a terry cloth bucket hat, single-pocket Cuban shirt, chunky sunglasses and Puma sneakers – and spent most of the night chomping away on a big stogie. What a king.
As he usually does, he let his watch do the talking: a rose gold Patek Philippe Nautilus Travel Time Chronograph (ref. 5990/1R-001) worth a solid US$400,000.
This tech-y edition of the famous luxury sports watch combines three highly sought-after complications: a self-winding flyback chronograph, an easy-to-use Travel Time function (dual time-zone), and a date display, coupled with local time.
RELATED: The Most Expensive Watches Ever, As Of 2022
Drake opted for a slightly more off-white (the colour, not the brand) outfit consisting of a silk bowling shirt over a white tank top, plus a thick diamond chain.
His watch was similarly impressive: a rare Rolex Sky-Dweller ‘2021 Secret Release’ (ref. 326259TBR) worth almost US$1 million.
As the name suggests, this Rolex isn’t available to regular punters. It’s an off-the-catalogue special that’s only offered to Rolex’s biggest-spending customers. Featuring an 18ct white gold case, meteorite dial and almost completely paved with diamonds, this Sky-Dweller comes with a comfy rubber Oysterflex strap with a paved clasp.

The real question is this: who looked better? Personally, I’m more of a fan of Jay’s watch – Drizzy’s Sky-Dweller is sick, but a mere mortal could never pull off something so flashy. That said, we reckon Drake had the better outfit.
We also wonder if the pair were chatting about a potential musical collab… Now that would truly be GOATed. Happy 4th of July.

Gentleminions may be a word you’ve seen circling the web and social media platforms within the past week, and there’s a very good reason for it. So, if you’ve wondered “what is the gentleminions trend?” We’re about to clear everything up for you.
If you’ve spent any time on TikTok in the past few days, you’ve most probably come across videos showing teenage boys and young men wearing suits to the cinema to see Minions: The Rise of Gru, the latest animated spin-off of the Despicable Me movie franchise. The TikTok trend has been dubbed, #Gentleminions.
What is the #Gentleminions trend and why did it start?
As previously mentioned, the GentleMinions trend refers to young men wearing suits and formal wear to watch Minions: The Rise of Gru at the cinema. They’ve started doing this as an ironic joke; the joke being that because these young men think that the Minions movies are bad, they instead dress up in their finest clothes to watch the newest instalment in the franchise as though it is peak cinema, which ultimately and ironically mocks the film.
Where did the Gentleminions trend come from?
Not only do the teenage boys wear suits to the cinema, but they also clasp their hands together as Gru does in the movies (similar to Mr Burns in The Simpsons when he says “excellent”) and some have even been seen to throw bananas at the cinema screen – bananas are the Minions’ favourite food.
The trend started in Chatswood (a suburb in Sydney, Australia), but it has quickly taken hold around the world. In fact, it has become such a phenomenon – or rather a nuisance – that some cinemas have started to ban anyone wearing a suit from a screening of the movie.
Why are cinemas banning the Gentleminions trend?
This is because some teenage boys have been reported as shouting loudly throughout the film, throwing the aforementioned bananas at the screen and just generally being disruptive. Some cinemas have been forced to give refunds to other customers sitting in the same screenings because their experience was ruined by those taking part in the GentleMinions trend.

An ODEON cinema in the UK has taken measures to curb the trend by posting signs to discourage anyone to take part in the GentleMinions trend.
Effect of the #Gentleminions trend
The global appeal of the GentleMinions trend could in some way be a leading cause of the incredible box office sales the latest Minions movie is experiencing. It is currently smashing box office records and has, so far, made over US$200 million worldwide.
However, it is highly likely that a vast majority of the young moviegoing audience is doing so just to take part in the GentleMinions trend and have little interest in seeing the movie itself.

In fact, Universal Pictures, the movie studio behind Minions: The Rise of Gru has previously tweeted its support of the GentleMinions trend. Whether Universal Pictures understands GentleMinions was created to mock the film or not, it probably doesn’t care, due to the huge sums of money it’s currently generating through ticket sales.
The Minions even have their own TikTok account (of course) and have previously posted a video that also shows encouragement of the trend, showing a Minion looking out of a window at a group of young men wearing suits to a screening of the latest Minions movie.
@minions Bobspeed you gentleminions. #Minions #TheRiseOfGru only in theaters now. #gentleminions #gentlemen #riseofgru #mintok ♬ Powerful songs like action movie music – Tansa
Minions: The Rise of Gru is the second Minions spin-off movie and the fifth movie in the Despicable Me franchise. The previous Minions movie was released in 2015 and grossed $1.159 billion at the box office and is now the fifth-highest-grossing animated movie of all time.
If the GentleMinions trend continues, we wouldn’t be surprised if it surpasses that figure. Minions: The Rise of Gru was released on the 1st of July 2022 and is currently showing in cinemas around the world.

Considering cooking your steak in a cast iron pan with butter? Watch how chef Andy Hearnden cooks his, and learn how he does it.
Kiwi chef, Andy Hearnden, current executive chef at Kilcoy Global Foods, is a social media sensation. He’s got 540k followers on Instagram and 2.4 million followers on TikTok. Before his rise to fame, he led kitchens in London, Sydney and Melbourne (at just 24, he worked at the Great Eastern Dining Room in Shoreditch, London).
He has gone viral various times for his cooking advice, including how to make perfect poached eggs. He is also a bit of a butter fiend, telling DMARGE: “more butter is always a good idea” when we expressed our desire to level up our steak game.
This came after a recent video we saw, in which Hearnden explains how to cook a steak with butter in a cast iron pan. In the clip, Hearnden cooks an Ebony Black Angus Tomahawk in a cast iron pan, after being (he says) roasted in the comments previously for always using a grill. The video, which ends with a tantalising glimpse of a deliciously cooked steak, shows Hearnden showing off his technique for getting it to look this way.
Watch: The Most Delicious Looking Steak You’ll See, Cooked In A Cast Iron Pan
How does he do it? Just cook it “start to finish in a cast iron [pan] using a whole lot of butter,” Hearnden says.
“I did dry grind [brind?] this in salt for 24 hours and I’ve had it out of the fridge for about an hour and half now too,” Hearnden tells followers. He then sears it on each side (2-3 minutes each side, on a medium flame), before scooping up butter and dolloping the melted stuff all over it.

He says he cooks it like this for about 23 minutes (he also uses rosemary and a couple of cloves of garlic), then rests it for twenty minutes, then gives it another little flash in the pan. He then cuts it up, tries it and says “that’s incredible” and talks about the “beautiful crust” how it’s “super buttery” and how the beef is incredible, summing up “I’m a lucky man.”
There you have it: if you want to send your cholesterol through the roof, but go to bed a happy man, this is the recipe for you. Enjoy.
