The first look at The Whale – the first film since 2013 that stars Brendan Fraser in a leading role – has been released. And we couldn’t be happier about Fraser coming back to the big screen.
Brendan Fraser was a huge star in the late 90s and early 2000s. His roles in George of the Jungle and The Mummy made him iconic. But Fraser sadly stepped away from film acting because of several traumatic incidents that occurred back then.
Firstly, Fraser was forced to undergo a partial knee replacement and vocal cord surgery as his body was damaged from various stunts he’d performed for action films. Fraser also alleges that around this time, in 2003 to be exact, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s former president Philip Berk sexually assaulted him.
But Fraser is finally (and thankfully) coming back into the spotlight. Fraser is set to appear in the upcoming Martin Scorsese film, Killers of the Flower Moon – which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, and is currently set for a 2023 release.

Not only this, but Fraser also is starring in Oscar-nominated director Darren Aronofsky’s next film, The Whale. In The Whale, Fraser will play Charlie, a reclusive English teacher who suffers from severe obesity, and the film will follow Charlie as he attempts to reconnect with his estranged daughter. And the first look at The Whale dropped today.
A24, the entertainment company behind The Whale, took to Twitter to announce that the film will premiere at the 79th Venice Film Festival – which will take place later this year from August 31st to September 10th – and to share a still of Fraser from The Whale.
The Whale marks Fraser’s first leading role since the 2013 film Breakout, which was a direct-to-DVD action flick; and we couldn’t be more excited to see Fraser back on the big screen. Especially as Stranger Things actress Sadie Sink will star opposite Fraser as Charlie’s daughter in The Whale.
Currently, there’s no exact release date for The Whale but it’s likely the film will be released in cinemas in September, after the Venice Film Festival. So, mark your calendars and get ready for the ‘Brenaissance’.

Have you ever wondered if it’s possible to travel Europe for 4-5 months, without spending the whole time in hostels, without sending yourself bankrupt? A couple of savvy globetrotters have shared on Reddit how they did it for $5,400 (AUD $7,825).
A couple of savvy travellers have shared how they travelled around Europe for 5 odd months, while spending less than 6 grand. They posted the feat to Reddit, where it sparked a fair bit of debate.
“My girlfriend and I are from the USA and have been travelling for the past 148 days,” Reddit user
u/HaleyandZach wrote. “Both of us have kept track of every $ spent! My hope in sharing this info is to show that you can travel to some amazing places on a tight budget! We each have a daily budget of $37.50 or $75 combined. This is just one person’s spend and we split basically everything.”

They couple explained that their accommodation was a mix of Airbnb and Booking.com, while staying in hostels “~30% of the time.” This cost them $2,104.
As for activities, they visited museums, did walking tours, saw castles, did bobsled runs, and enjoyed seeing a few National Parks. This cost them $355.
In terms of coffee, they said they spent $51.41 drinking it from cafes, and the rest of the time would just “drink horrible instant coffee at the accommodation.” Eating in restaurants cost them $979.
Food and water bought from supermarkets and convenience stores (“basically any food that wasn’t ordered from a restaurant/bakery”) cost them $642.
They also budgeted a health category, which comprised travel health insurance, toothpaste, mouthwash, soap and shampoo. They spent $289 on this category.

On top of that were more categories like misc (“this includes paying for bathrooms”), mobile phone, souvenir (“I try to buy a magnet in each country”), transportation (“Taxis/Uber/Local Bus/Trams/Marshrutkas”) and (non-local) travel (e.g. “Bus from Slovakia to Croatia, Train from Mostar to Sarajevo in Bosnia & Herzegovina”).
According to the pair’s budget, the miscellaneous category cost them $25, mobile phone charges cost them $24, souvenirs cost them $19, local transportation cost them $273, and non-local transportation cost them $504.
They also included a list of the countries they visited (which you can see below), which gives you a bit of an idea of another reason the trip turned out so cheap.
Countries Visited:
- Estonia
- Latvia
- Lithuania
- Poland
- Czech Republic
- Slovakia
- Croatia
- Bosnia & Herzegovina
- Serbia
- Romania
- Moldova
- Transnistria (Unrecognized Breakaway State within Moldova)
- Bulgaria
- North Macedonia
In the comments, other travel fans expressed their thanks for providing such a detailed budget, which could now inform their upcoming trips. Others questioned how little they spent on alcohol (to which the pair replied: “Yeah, people seem to be shocked by that but I just don’t drink a lot. In Bosnia for example, a 2-litre bottle of beer was something like $1.50….”).
Yet others asked how they were received by the locals, to which the couple replied: “The locals have been absolutely amazing,” adding: “Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Romania, and Moldova stand out as having the warmest and most welcoming people.”
“I’d say the vast majority are happy you are visiting their country and want to help or show you around and make sure you have a great experience.”

There you have it. Your travel inspiration for the week. Time to get adding to that bucket list.

We’ve all heard it before: the stereotype goes that all men are obsessed with sex. Well, that’s not what our research suggests…
It might be 2022 but many of our assumptions and stereotypes about how Australian men and women are expected to behave in the bedroom remain somewhat antiquated.
DMARGE recently completed its inaugural ‘Men’s Matters’ Survey in partnership with Hoop Research – an annual study to better understand the expectations and pressures of work, lockdown and relationships on men – and some of our findings were rather startling.
Case in point: we put a number of controversial sex-related statements about men to a representative Australian audience as part of the study, including the statement “real men can have as many sexual partners as they like; real men never say no to sex” – and 75% of men surveyed disagreed with this statement.
We’ve all heard the adage “a key that opens many locks is a good key, a lock that opens for any key is a bad lock.” Our data would seem to challenge that (rather slut-shaming, it must be said) attitude.

It would suggest that a majority of Australian men have a more mature, less stereotypically ‘macho’ attitude to love and relationships – they don’t just value chalking runs up on the board or don’t feel pressured to be constantly sexually available.
RELATED: Attractive Men Reveal Struggles Of Being Ridiculously Good Looking
Interestingly, female respondents to our Men’s Matters Survey were even more against the statement than men, with 86% disagreeing. That also suggests that Australian women’s attitudes about men’s sexual appetites are changing – that is, they have a less reductive view of men in the bedroom.
It also suggests that women are less interested in playboys (or sexual double standards)… Although that’s perhaps a less surprising conclusion to draw.

A recent Reddit thread has got people sharing their insightful, harsh and hilarious ‘unpopular opinions’ about the Australian city, Melbourne.
Depending on where you live in Australia, you’re sure to have some sort of opinion about Melbourne. If you’re a Sydneysider, you might think Melbourne is a terrible place full of rain, strange football codes and concrete.
However, if you live in rural Australia, you might love Melbourne and probably think of it as a holiday destination filled with vibrant culture. No matter your stance, there are many different ways to look at Victoria’s capital city – as proven by a recent Reddit thread.
User Adamjamal1 asked for Reddit users everywhere to comment their unpopular Melbourne opinions, and boy did people deliver.
As Melbourne is renowned for its next-level cafe, bar and food scene, it was surprising to see many say that the food is overrated. One user wrote, “Those Hot Jam Donuts at the Queen Vic Markets are not worth lining up for. Even for 5 minutes,” while another said, “Restaurants have better marketing departments than chefs.” Ouch.
Reddit user dannygreet went so far as to say that the entire city of Melbourne, not just the food, is overrated. Although, they did clarify that they still enjoy living there.
“It’s actually kinda overrated, although I live here and really do like it.”
Reddit u/dannygreet

Another surprising opinion about Melbourne had to do with the city’s tough COVID restrictions – for context, Melbourne spent more time in COVID lockdowns than any other city in the world. But according to user Live-Aspect-9394, “The lockdown wasn’t that bad.”
A few Reddit users also challenged the common belief that Melbourne is filled with “progressive” people. One user wrote, “I get more leftist seemingly progressive (white) people treating me like a racial stereotype the closer I am to the city,” while another said, “the inner/northern suburbs are weirdly classist despite their stereotype of being socially progressive.”
It’s not all bad news for Melbournians though. Many comments praised Melbourne; for example, user SomeCubingNerd wrote, “Public transport here rules. Everyone complains about it but like???? HAVE Y’ALL TRIED PUBLIC TRANSPORT ELSEWHERE? Melbourne has it gooooood.”
Likewise, Reddit user Suibian_ni, showed his love for an infamous Melbourne skyscraper and commented, “Eureka Tower looks pretty good.” Sadly, only one other person agreed with Suibian_ni. And because Eureka Tower is notoriously hated by both locals and tourists, this comment made some serious waves.
One user was definitely too aggressive and replied with, “I’ll kill you!” while another disagreed humorously with the comment, “Cries in architecture.”
If anything, this Reddit thread ultimately proves that every city has both pros and cons. And Melbourne is no exception.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder are mental disorders that can have a dramatic effect on the lives of the people it affects. However, both terms – OCD especially – have made their way into everyday vernacular to the point that many of us claim OCD is the reason for the way we behave.
For example, someone who likes their t-shirts or towels to be folded perfectly neatly may say “it’s because of my OCD.” But, in the majority of cases, this person won’t actually have OCD, nor would have been diagnosed with it. It may, however, fall into the OCPD camp. Or, it could be neither, and the person just likes things to be neat.
While OCD and OCPD share similar names, there is much to separate them. They are common disorders and so there is a good chance there are many people in the world living with these disorders who haven’t yet been clinically diagnosed.
So, what is OCD, what is OCPD and what is the difference between the two? Allow us to explain.
What Is Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)?
Now, we’re not going to sit here and say we’re experts in the field of OCD, so we will use information taken from various authoritative sources to explain what OCD, what OCPD is and the differences between the two.
OCD, or Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, is as its name suggests, ruled by obsessions (thoughts) and compulsions (actions). As Stanford professor Andrew Huberman says on his Huberman Lab podcast, “the obsessions and compulsions are often linked so that the compulsion, or behaviour, is designed to offer relief from the obsession.”
The key point with OCD that many people fail to understand (and which makes it unnecessary to claim you have it if you like to have your towels folded nicely) is that the obsessions are intrusive, to the point the person experiencing doesn’t want to have them.
OCD can almost be likened to a vicious cycle, though, as when an obsession or intrusive thought, enters the mind and the compulsion occurs to relieve it, in doing so, the compulsion reinforces the idea that the obsession is bad news.
Obsessions and compulsions are often linked, but they can operate individually. Ultimately, however, both will have a drastic effect on the person’s quality of life.
What you may be surprised to learn is that OCD is incredibly common, with experts estimating anywhere between 2.5% to 3 or 4% of the world’s population, suffer from OCD. To put this into context, there are currently around 7.75 billion people on the planet, so 4% of this would be 310,120,000. A huge number of people, we think you’ll agree.
Moreover, OCD is listed in the top 10 of the most debilitating illnesses in the world, alongside the likes of cancer, which should reinforce the notion of just how much of an effect it can have on someone’s life.
What Is Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder (OCPD)?
Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder is the one that refers to perfectionism, order and neatness. However, it is more extreme than simply liking things to be neat and tidy.
This is because, as Healthline states, one of the symptoms of OCPD is “perfectionism to the point that it impairs the ability to finish tasks.” Other symptoms can include:
- Excessive devotion to work at the expense of family or social relationships
- Extreme attention to detail
- A fixation with lists
- A sense of righteousness about the way things should be done
These are just a selection of the symptoms relevant to OCPD. A fuller list can be found at Healthline. But, going off the symptoms mentioned, OCPD can dramatically affect one’s working life. This is because with any task that needs to be completed, someone with OCPD will fixate on every single little detail, to the point where the task may not even get finished on time.
People with OCPD are also unaware of how their actions affect colleagues and co-workers, and in many ways, don’t care, because they believe the way they do things is the right way and the only way to do them. They also, therefore, struggle to delegate tasks to anyone else, believing that the task won’t get completed properly.
For someone to be clinically diagnosed with OCPD, the symptoms will “impair your ability to function and interact with others.”
MSD Manual says “about 2.1 to 7.9% of the general population are estimated to have an obsessive-compulsive personality disorder; it is more common among men.”
OCD vs OCPD: What’s The Difference?
Hopefully, the information above paints a clear picture of the differences between OCD and OCPD.
The main difference is that people with OCD don’t want to have intrusive thoughts, or obsessions whereas people with OCPD don’t necessarily mind experiencing their obsessions. In some cases, they even welcome the obsession.
To make it even clearer, OCD is deemed to be an anxiety disorder. OCPD is a personality disorder.
OCD vs OCPD: Treatment
While their not similar in terms of symptoms, OCD and OCPD are treated in similar ways, with the most common being talk therapy. At the moment, medication such as serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) have been shown to offer positive effects when prescribed to people with OCD.
For those with OCPD, Verywell Health says there is “no specification medications, although the same medications that help treat OCD can also help with OCPD.”
Psychotherapy styles including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP) – a type of CBT – are also recommended as treatment options for both OCD and OCPD.
CBT examines thoughts and how they can influence or dictate one’s behaviour. By understanding where the obsessions come from and why the compulsions occur as a relief, psychotherapists can begin to help patients overcome their condition.
Exposure therapy sees the person with OCD being exposed to the triggers that cause their obsessions. While it may seem like a rather harsh form of treatment, exposure therapy has been shown to help cure OCD. It does so through a process called habituation, according to Verywell Mind. Habituation refers to the natural process “when a person stops responding or paying attention to a stimulus, such as a thought, object, place, person or action, with repeated exposure.”
This helps with OCD because by continually exposing someone to the triggers of their obsessions, the person should begin to learn that no consequences will occur as a result of their obsessive thoughts.

Professional bodybuilder Stan Efferding claims that salt can boost hydration and can even get rid of ‘training headaches.’
Salt has a bad rep in the health world. Eating too much of it can contribute to serious problems, like high blood pressure. And many salty foods – like chips, mixed nuts and fast food – contribute to weight and body fat gain.
But salt is essential to hydration, according to Stan Efferding AKA The White Rhino. The professional bodybuilder recently spoke with Mike Mutzel for a Marek Health video and spoke about how salt boosts hydration.
Efferding also revealed that he actually advises his clients to add salt to their diet; but not in the way you think.
“Just taking a half a teaspoon of salt and putting it on your tongue, which is 1000 milligrams, and then washing it down with whatever drink you’re drinking… I’ve been having athletes do that, now, for some time and realising extraordinary benefits in terms of performance.”
Stan Efferding
WATCH: Stan Efferding talks about the benefits of adding salt to your diet…
Surprisingly, consuming sea salt before drinking or adding sea salt to water isn’t anything new. Many believe salt helps the body absorb water better; which is why actress and GOOP founder Gwyneth Paltrow adds salt to water before she drinks it, as does notable neuroscientist Dr Andrew Huberman.
But Efferding also claims that salt can not only boost hydration; it can also get rid of “training headaches.”
“I’ll have couples contact me regarding headaches, they’ll get those training headaches and that little bit of salt, and a few other of these minor little things, a little iodine, a little fruit; all of a sudden, they go to train, and the headaches are gone.”
Stan Efferding
Apologies for the following bad pun but, you may want to take Efferding’s advice with a grain of salt and consult with your GP before trying Efferding’s method. But hey, if you get the green light, hopefully, you’ll get these amazing benefits Efferding speaks of.

We live in an increasingly politically correct world. And yet, Family Guy has managed to stay on the air all these years. Here’s how.
“Where are those good old-fashioned values on which we used to rely?” Certainly not on Family Guy, the popular and Emmy-winning animated series. The sitcom is well known for its offensive jokes – and whether you love it or hate it, it’s undeniably impressive that Family Guy has endured this long.
But with celebrities getting ‘cancelled’ left, right and centre these days – for example, Will Smith’s career took a hit after the infamous Oscar slap as did Johnny Depp’s career back in 2020 after his divorce from Amber Heard – how exactly has something as outrageous as Family Guy endured?
Since it first aired in 1999, Family Guy has faced its fair share of critics and backlash. Constantly called an ‘idiotic’ ripoff of The Simpsons, Family Guy has also had multiple formal Federal Communications Commission complaints filed against it by the Parents Television Council (PTC) – a conservative non-profit watchdog group.
Over the course of its 20-season-long run, the PTC has repeatedly taken offence at Family Guy’s ‘lewd sexual content’ and ‘sexually explicit jokes’ and therefore, has campaigned multiple times for the show to be cancelled and for multiple episodes to be edited or taken off the air – to no avail.
Plus, Ken Tucker (a prominent TV critic for Entertainment Weekly) has frequently voiced his dislike of Family Guy; he even called the sitcom anti-Semitic. To put it simply, Family Guy pushes the boundaries. And that’s why many have been outraged by the cartoon.
However, there are three main reasons as to why Family Guy has stayed on the air all these years (and before any Family Guy experts come for us, we know that Family Guy was cancelled after its third season but that was because of low ratings and then the show was resurrected after syndicated reruns got high ratings). The first is that there are obviously more fans than critics of the show.
WATCH: Some of the most offensive ‘Family Guy’ jokes (you’ve been warned; watch at your own risk)…
Clearly, there are many who still watch Family Guy and enjoy it no matter how dark and ribaldry the humour gets. Otherwise, it wouldn’t get the high ratings and the high reviews that it does; for example, Fox renewed Family Guy for Seasons 19 and 20 in 2020, with Fox Entertainment president Michael Thorn telling Deadline, “Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers are key pillars of our network’s success.” Additionally, Family Guy currently has an 8.2 IMDb score.
It’s kind of a no-brainer; if Family Guy was offending everyone on the planet, no one would watch it, it wouldn’t make anyone any money and then it would get cancelled. Duh. But why is Family Guy so popular when it’s not at all politically correct in an increasingly politically correct world?
Well, this leads us to the second reason why Family Guy’s still kicking; the show tells offensive jokes about everyone. Men, women, non-binary, trans people, white people, coloured people, religious people, disabled people – no one is safe when it comes to Family Guy, which ultimately makes it fair? The show manages to portray what equality between everyone – albeit in a f*cked up kind of way – would look like.
And thirdly, the reason Family Guy’s never gotten cancelled, even though it’s arguably ‘worse’ than many celebrities who have gotten cancelled, is because it’s fictional. It goes without saying but Family Guy’s characters are not real. Which is how Mike Henry, Family Guy writer, producer and voice actor, thinks the show gets away with its ballsy jokes.
Back in 2012, Henry told The New Yorker that having an “idiot character” in a show, like Peter Griffin, “gives you license to do anything.”

And yes, while Family Guy’s characters are fictional, there are very real people behind the show which may cause you to ask the question: why haven’t they gotten ‘cancelled’? Well, that’s because these people are separate from the characters they create, and because they have actually, over time, ensured that Family Guy does improve itself in some ways.
For example, Henry himself stepped down from voicing Cleveland Brown, a black Family Guy character, in 2020 and wrote on Twitter, “I love this character but persons of colour should play characters of colour. Therefore, I will be stepping down from the role.”
Similarly, the show’s executive producers Rich Appel and Alec Sulkin told TVLine that they were less comfortable making ‘gay jokes’ now (as compared to say, 2006), when quizzed about Season 17’s eleventh episode, Trump Guy, in which Peter says, “In fairness, we’ve been trying to phase out the gay stuff.”
Sulkins said, “If you look at a show from 2005 or 2006 and put it side by side with a show from 2018 or 2019, they’re going to have a few differences. Some of the things we felt comfortable saying and joking about back then, we now understand is not acceptable.”
And even though a more recent episode of Family Guy (Season 18, Episode 4 – Disney’s The Reboot) featured a very meta conversation between a focus group member, who says, “I thought you guys were phasing out gay jokes,” and Peter, who replies with, “That quote was taken out of context and widely misunderstood,” Family Guy actually has cut way back on jokes made at the expense of LGBTQI+ community members.
Overall, Family Guy is what it is – a hilarious show to some, an offensive abomination to others. If you enjoy the show’s dark humour, great; continue watching it. And if you hate Family Guy with a passion, then “Shut up, Meg!” Just kidding; continue to ask for it to get cancelled. That’s your prerogative (just don’t expect it to actually be taken off the air unless the bulk of Family Guy fans start to feel the same way you do).

Kelly Slater has taken to Instagram with a searing screed, after watching a video of a failed duckdive at Kandui ruin (arguably) the wave of a surfer’s life.
Kelly Slater has taken to Instagram with a harsh message about kooks. The message, which takes the form of an Instagram comment on a video by Stab Mag on Instagram, reads: “The number of people in over their heads at places all around the world trying to get their hero shot is beyond comprehension. And dangerous. And the awareness level is even lower than the surfing level.”
The message was inspired by a video of a wave at Kandui (an island in the Mentawais), in which one surfer’s botched duckdive ruins another surfer’s opportunity to get barrelled. Kelly Slater was not the only one up in arms about this, with hundreds of comments raining in condemning the act.
Two choice remarks included: “like scooter kids at a skate park” and “jail for that guy.” Two further comments included: “shouldn’t even be in the water” and “if I did that to someone I’m doing the john john duck dive underwater swim thing all the way home.”
“Imagine spending all that money to go to kandui in peek season and not know how to duck dive.”
Others used the incident as an opportunity to express their grievances about the socio-economic dynamics of the Mentawais (“the only problem is that the guys who are going on surf trips and don’t know how to duck dive tend to have more than enough money to waste”). Meanwhile, others blamed the kook-pocalypse on safety equipment (“everyone straps on a helmet and their impact vest and paddles out thinking a miracle is going to happen”).

One commenter, who seems to be claiming responsibility for the failed duckdive, chimed in too, claiming it was just a mistake and not a reflection of his ability. The user wrote: “@kellyslater @lachlan.bugeja2 literally has nothing to do with my awareness level or surfing level. It was a genuine mishap and unfortunately at a horrible time. I paddled over directly to the bloke and apologised. We moved on and the world kept turning. Give it a break @kellyslater.”

Other comments backing this user up included: “way to chime in there all you dingleberries” and “if only we could live up to your standards, sir. Please forgive us mere peasants. We don’t mean to offend you.”
Another commenter wrote: “@kellyslater it would also be nice if every bloke with a sticker on their board stopped fading anyone they want in a lineup, there is a lot of learnings passed down from the best in this sport that is pretty dogshit too (agree with your comment) but I’d love to know the board count of everyday guys and girls that have come in with a broken board because the pro on the jet ski at kirra decides he likes the wave your on.”
Finally, another said: “when the GOAT speak we all humans [sic] lisen.” Whether or not you agree with Slater, the listening part is hard to argue with.

Charles Leclerc is one of the most talented and exciting Formula 1 drivers on the planet… But it’s his attitude more than his racecraft that makes him truly impressive.
The 24-year-old Monégasque, who has emerged as Ferrari’s #1 driver and is currently in the midst of a title fight with reigning World Champion Max Verstappen, might be insanely competitive – just like every F1 driver – but he brings an unusual humility and calming presence to a sport that’s usually dominated by big egos and brash comments.
Leclerc started off the 2022 season looking exceptionally strong, leading the championship fight for the first 5 races… But a series of blunders – some Ferrari’s fault, some his – have let Verstappen overtake him in the points.
Leclerc’s biggest disappointment of the season so far came at last weekend’s French Grand Prix at the Circuit Paul Ricard. The young pilot was leading the race up until Lap 18, where at Turn 11 he overcooked the throttle, got a snap of oversteer and went hurtling into the barriers, ending his race.
WATCH Charles Leclerc’s crash at the 2022 French Grand Prix below.
The angry scream Leclerc let out over the radio was understandable… But it’s his reaction afterwards that’s really interesting, telling the press:
“It’s my fault and if I keep doing mistakes like this then I deserve not to win the championship.”
“I’m losing too many points, I think seven in Imola, 25 here because honestly, we were the strongest car on track today,” he added. “If we lose the championship by 32 points at the end of the season, I will know from where they are coming from. And it’s unacceptable, I just need to get on top of those things.”
It’s hard not to feel for Charles, but the way he owns his mistakes and doesn’t offer excuses is to be commended. It’s an attitude we don’t see enough in this sport.
Compare Leclerc’s attitude to Max Verstappen or Lewis Hamilton, who more often than not whinge about their team, teammates or the stewards rather than owning their f*ck-ups (although it must be said, those two are nowhere near as petulant as they were during the 2021 season). That’s before we start talking about F1’s badly behaved team bosses…
RELATED: Meet The IWC Watch Built To Withstand Toto Wolff’s Biggest Tantrums

Maybe it’s because Leclerc races with a more personal mission than some of his rivals. Leclerc has often said he’s racing for his late father Herve, who inspired his passion for motorsports, as well as for his friend, mentor and godfather Jules Bianchi, the French F1 driver who died of his injuries in 2015 after a mammoth crash at the 2014 Japanese Grand Prix.
In any case, we admire Leclerc’s personality, and we’re very glad to see him emerge as one of the sport’s top talents.
