Winning Photos From The 2016 iPhone Photography Awards

Whilst just about everyone in this world is trying to catch imaginary monsters with their camera phones, a select group of talented pundits are pushing the boundaries of their iPhone hardware to capture stunning images for the annual iPhone Photography Awards.

Given that there are over one billion iPhone users worldwide, Apple’s iPhone camera is today the world’s most used camera. This doesn’t make sifting through the thousands of images from entrants across 139 countries any less arduous.

For this year’s coveted contest, categories extended across still life, people, animals, food, portrait and many more. There would only be one winner though and that crown went to China’s Siyuan Niu who captured ‘Man and the Eagle’. Coming in at second was Poland’s Patryk Kuleta for his depiction of Modern Cathedrals followed by the USA’s Robin Robertis for her entry titled She Bends with the Wind.
