Famed Youtube scientist Colin Furze is not wired like others. For starters, he is as insane as he is insanely smart. Adding to his list of crazy inventions such as pneumatically operated Wolverine claws and a thermite canon, Furze has today unveiled every Star Wars fan’s dream – a fully functioning hoverbike.

The twin propellered craft was built in his backyard using motors from compact parasailing fans. It wasn’t all smooth sailing though with Furze having to take multiple attempts to learn how to fly the unstable machine without losing his fingers or head.

It’s dangerous. It’s awesome. And we highly recommend you don’t try this one at home with your Dyson fans.
