Modern Industrial Loft In Prague Adds 1950s Charm

Located deep in the Czech Republic’s city of Prague is Loft Hřebenky by Formafatal.

The space is 85-square metres of a complicated floor plan consisting of 44 pieces of individually designed furniture to fit into the home’s unconventional layout. Complementing this unique look are also original pieces from the 1950s.

Raw concrete adorns the walls whilst a large terrace connected to the main living area draws natural light into the space. Further industrial touches such as steel wire framing was bent and used as a mounting frame. Paired with Earthy tones, grey and black, the home forms a masculine space which retains some of its warmth.

The bathroom is also a highlight with vintage bathtubs receiving the modern white-out finish, juxtaposed against exposed black piping. Formafatal have done a fine job of this home and stayed well within the confines of a bachelor pad that adds both character and strength.
